Any advice appreciated, thanks
Is this laptop below more than good enough for the job please?
I currently have an Acer Aspire 8930G which is great for everything except playing more than 6/7 tables on Sky Poker. After that I get extreme lag and it's unplayable (with no other programs running). This is just on the browser - the download client is unplayable with just 2 tables. Everything is so slow lol
I'm presuming it's my laptop that can't handle the flash-based software - it's got 4GB RAM but only 32bit (hence only reads 3). The CPU useage flickers between 95-100% continuously when playing 6 tables. I have fast BT Infinity B/B so can't be that causing the lag.
Am after one that will be good for a few years, without spending more that about £700ish which this comes in at approx. Will this be ok? Is there anything on the spec that's not quite up to the job?
