Broke the £100 barrier tonight!! £100.23. Delighted, it was a big barrier lol after been up at 99£ I had bad run and was back down at £92. This is the hand that took me above the £100 mark.

I had pocket queens, opponent Jams J high flop, when he's shoving, i think i'm ahead, WRONG. Loved the Queen on the river:D

It's been a volatile journey so far, i really have been yoyoing.

Some sessions im getting everything and others nothing. I wonder if i can cut out some of the volatilty from my play. Maybe tighten up my range, and if i lose a big pot just stop.

I said before any bad beat and I was just going to stop playing. Then the other day I tilted and lost 8 quid in an hour.  I had ACE King. Opponents raised to 22p, i go to 60, he calls. K high flop, i bet he's all in I call, They had q 7 and 2 pair! After that hand i went on to lose a bit.

Ive started playing a few 50p £1 bounty hunters which take away a lot of the highs and lows of cash. Tho its a lot slower to build up a profit, and the rake is quite high. Might try and play more of these to get my up 2 the £110-120 mark.

At the moment i've stuck to 2p 4 p tables, i'm not sure when I should move up. Maybe once bank rolls at £150.

Lost a bit at cash, got most of it back, played a DYM £1 won, played a BH with 9 players was totally running the show...got unlucky then got lucky to get 2nd. This was the 2nd last hand, hate oppos shove on flop...

Hi Larson,


 When playing NL4, remember all passive players call - if they raise you then fold your one pair hands and yes even AA.

unless.... you have reads/noes that they go crazy with one pr hands that you beat.

95% of the players at nl4 are passive, call ATC and rasie when they hit big - 5% are just crazy bad

Just apply logic to your poker and you'll be fine.

And yes AJ is the nuts on a A29 flop, unless your raised because they always have A9/A2

Played orfordable tournie tonight, was sitting well stacked, then lost a massive pot KK vrs AA, left me with about 18k behind and grounded out the longest bubble ive ever seen! Min cash, 15/133.

I'm gonna post some of my hands from the tournie in the Poker Clinic, so you can see how eratic my play is!

New Bankrole, £62.85, pretty disapointed its dropped so much.

Had bad beat after bad beat, im sitting with a straight on a 10 10 j q board, i have 9 k, guys all in on turn i call, he has pocket 2s. 2 on river!

Other hand in cash aces all in pre flop against j k, j k hits a set of kings.

Back to the start pretty much, but i guess that is poker.

this was played so bad.. how can you think your good? he can literally have any 2 cards and you have no information on him what so ever if your going to play this hand raise pre and if he folds so what? free chips

Update:

Had a tone of bad beats, never had such a bad run ever,

I had AA busted 4 times over the space of 2 days, all hands got it in pre flop.

Last one was the worse, oppo had king 2, He got runner runner 2, Turn/ River.

Played a really bad session after this where i lost £15 odd quid. I was down to £45.

Had an alrite run again, current bankrole £68.73.

Played the mini primo tonight, busted near the bubble with this hand:( pretty sick!!
