You post this on like every post you 3bet KJo WE GET IT
New PC ordered and went with devonfish's suggestion. Offered him a % of me in a mtt but the gentleman that he is suggested I give a few pennies to a charity instead. Which is what I shall do. I also owe you drinks devonfish when I see you at a event.
Now I have my pc I'm looking for a monitor that can handle as many tables as possible. I believe I should be looking for a 27" monitor with as high resolution as possible.
Look forward to hearing any advice you guys might have.
higher resolution as possible means more tables, there was a guide somewhere - I'll post if I find it
You may need two monitors btw if your playing 20 tables You need to ensure you graphics cards outputs support the resolution of the monitor/s your getting
I would suggest getting two 24 or 27" monitors that can handle 12 tables each at least. What grahics card did you get ? Did you get this one ? GT430

In terms of screen space, you need to be looking at resolution. As an example 1920x1080 fits 12 skypoker tables w/ some overlap, regardless of whether its on a 18" screen or a 60" TV. Obviously if you have 1920x1080 on an 18" monitor the windows are going to be rather small, while on the 60" the windows will be much larger. Google display resolution for full explanations.
1920x1080 monitors are relatively cheap, you can find 24" ones for ~ £100-£120 easily. 28" prob £20-£30 more.
If you wanted to up the resolution to for example 2560x1440, thats going to be a lot more expensive, probably talking £400+ at the cheapest.
Almost certainly better to get 2/3 1920x1080 monitors over getting one 2560x1440 monitor unless money's no object and you're getting the mother of all graphics cards/systems that can handle 2/3 of the higher ones.
