Go to CASH GAMES and then select FREE PLAY. Its not that hard but I couldn't find it either and had to ask!

Hi Tikay! I was wondering how I get a hand shown, the hand number I.D is 0225206616 and I wanted to see if it was right to put down my AA with a K 10 K flop?
Also just won a 1500 bounty hunter and wondered how you get into contention for the total player thingy? Hav'nt really had chance to play on the site much since it started but am going to be playing a lot this week

about 2 weeks ago on poker tv,you mentioned that you met a guy and he gave or lent
you a book about omaha,you said it was the best book you had read,i was just wondering
if you would let me now what it was called,as i have just started playing.

I have had about eight people PM me & ask the same thing!

I will let you know the Title, & Author, & where it can be obtained, shortly.

Somewhat selfishly, I want to ensure they can fulfil my order first - I have ordered a dozen copies. Some are for close friends, a few will be given to Sky Poker Producers to give away as prizes etc.

The man who showed me the book is a wily old guy who has never worked a day in his life, he just eeks out a living playing Omaha Online, & over the years, he makes about a grand a week, nice & steady. We have been friends for 15 years or more, & I always listen to his advice.

He went to Vegas recently, & perchance, ended up sat at a Poker Table playing Omaha next to the Author of the book.

He shared the info with me, but asked me not to mention it on my "other" site, where they are all a bit sharp. He genuinely thinks it will unlock the secrets of Omaha like no other book before.

I went & had Christmas dinner with this guy on Xmas Day, he showed me the book, & I could not put it down, I was awestruck. I have played Omaha for about 10 or 12 years, & I'm "competent", my Live record is 9 Fessie Cashes from 13 Tourneys I think, including 2 wins. So I'm not naive as to Omaha, (not saying I'm good, either) but this book is something else, & taught me stuff I had never imagined.

because i've been in many situations where i feel i should be calling but end up folding and the times when i do call a big raise i lose..

my luck is so bad , played in a £11 DYM yesterday, with 4 left i got QQ , went all in, got 2 callers, AA and KK whats the odds of that, obviously no Q on the flop

Hi

The answer is, it depends, what is the table like?, where are you in position?, how late in the game is it?, do you have the odds? calling with AK, you are, at best likely to be 50/50, but any pair is beating you and that includes 22, you need to listen to what the players behind you are telling you, for instance player 1 calls, player 2 raises 6X the BB, player 3 goes all in, what does that tell you?, but, if everyone just calls and you are last to act, try a raise, say 5 or 6X the BB early in the game, or 2 to 3X BB late in the game, or however much you think you can get your opponent to fold

seem to be less petulent and am usually around the money now thx tikay,ur words were wise,hopefully i can bounce on the rails for the total player.. never know. i only seem to play bad when not in the mood..or drunk..lol.do u find its a game of having to be in the mooood.

I can sympathise with that I played in a tournament 6 months ago and was under the gun with K K. I called knowing that the chip leader at my table was raising every pot. True to form he raised 3 times big blind but then another passive player goes all in 65000 chips. I think for 2 mins then decide my best play is all in rather than call 200000 chips expecting the leader to fold. He goes all in as well and the cards turned over . Chip leader shows Q Q and short stack shows A A. The flop comes with a Q and puts me and the short stack out cashing $960 the guy went on to win the tournament winning $63000 ouch.

As an online player for a few years now (sky poker for the last 6 months) I also play in my local pub, but what advice can you give me in playing in a live tournament as i have qualified for Luton. I am looking forward to it but after never playing in a live tournament am afraid i might play a hand which breaks the rules - example - If i want to go all in do I have to state first that it is an all in call or if I raise do I have to state the the raise before my chips go over the line etc etc

Ps Will you be there? and will I get a chance to get my picture taken with Lisa Marie as I do have a bit of a crush on her (I,m sure i,m not the only one though)

Who do I contact to sort out a problem I had the other night?, I qualified for the 1K Velocity through sat and accidentally deregistered from the tourney just before it started, I immediateley re-registered but the money was taken from my account, the original stake also disappeared, I have sent an e-mail to sky but no reply, the tourney was Tuesday night.

Heres what sky_dave said

This is coming from me (therefore not set in stone or even 100% correct), but this is what I believe the formats to be:

Extreme - reduced chip stack and faster blinds. Rumour has it this was devised to give Tikay a chance of winning a leg, but I can't confirm or deny that

Split - Basically you're playing two tournaments in tande (therefore multitabling two tables) with winnings from the pair combined to give you your final score.

We don't have them up in the lobby at the moment as they are formats devised especially for the TKOII. If you look through the list, you'll see they came up with Sky Poker's own twist on HORSE:

Holdem

Omaha

Roulette

Split

Extreme

As always, the TKOII format is designed for good banter and a bit of fun so we hope you get into the spirit of it

I came 11th in last nights freeroll it said i qualified for entry into double stack. can you tell me what that is and can i claim it anytime or is the offer only available on that same night after that game? cheers
