I see you use the overbet shove quite a bit, and it gets called with utter muck (see 2x gutshots above!). Just keep doing that! Whether the shove was correct on the A34 board with 33 will depend whether you'll get called by more hands that you're beating than ones that you're behind to, and on the evidence (player dependent) I think it's ok. Do it again ten times and AK AQ A3 A4 56 57 etc etc etc will make you cash. Last hand, you are the pre-flop aggressor, you're in position, and you've got an A-high board. In normal play I'd be barrelling but if people don't fold as often then check might be ok - not sure. If you think you have fold equity on the turn then the shove is ok.

cheers mate. For some reason the pocket tens hand made me seeth more than the gut shot one as at least they were drawing live for a triple up.

Well did my 2 table thingy as I was tired again today. Seems to be working. As it felt like I lost badly today yet im actually surprisl up. I feel I play better preflop with 3 tables, but better post flp with two. Since post imo is what I need to work on more, im sticking for two tables unless im feeling fresh as a daisy. Anyway as I say ive yo yoed back up to 32.44, up 8 quid for the month, and youll be pleased to know that sky officially owes me 1.16 pence. 500 point is looking bit bleak tbh.

Then theres the bad. I tink this suited over shove is only good on jack and below flops with ace king, as if the other guy even had just king queen we still coin flip and I lose with the rake. Only queen jack is profitable with this flop. So perhaps a reraise, then check the turn???what you guys thnk?

This hand I tried to check the river to call a value bet on the off chance he had the ace, as I had a gut feeling he did. It was one of those weird situations like when you have pocket kings and you really suspect the good tight player has aces but you shove anyway. What you guy think?

AND THE UGLY!!.This was a shocker. For some reason I was very negative going into this hand. When he rerasied me I initially wanted to shove, then talked myelf he might have kings/aces. and the rest is well..just mess, I talked myself into losing this hand. It pains me to put this one up.

As mentioned im not sure a queen board gives me correct odds, as any king queen or ace queen is less than coin flip at 46 percent, if you throw in rake as well, im screwed.

First hand; i would have re raised the 24p bet to about 60-70, on such a wet flop i would be shoving.

2nd hand, people at 4nl are not normally lieing, i know we have the second nuts, but to such an over bet, the vast majority of the time it is the nuts here.

Hand 3 i was going to say i don't like the ship but just seen the stack behind, if our AK is live we are getting ok odds.

The queens hand I really wanted to shove preflop tbh. But I was really negative for some reason and paranoid throughout the whole hand. I don't know why, perhaps the tiredness.

Tired end of the week feeling, so two tabled again. Didn't play my A game today, and again felt I was down but ended up 5 quid up. Had some so bad rivers but kept my head up mentally believed in my own game and won back all my losses and the some.

Now up to 37.20 and up 12.70 since starting the journey. Will I get to the elusive 40 quid barrier???

I agree mate statically a set had me beat, but as shown by my ace king suited to back door jack ten split pot straight people can call you with anything. Also what I was referring to was odds with the usual hands that would call, would I be losing or winning in the long term??

but your assuming knowng the cards, don't forget one of the callers had an open ender, and as shown on the ace king, people go all in with gut shots. Admittidly my theory is purely on "average" on 2 p 4 p and not playing the person.

I think ill calm down on my flush draw shoves seems like you have proven it to long term loser. Which I agree looking at the maths.

Last day and a half ive kept up the two tabling, and its still working. Nothing revolutionary but slowly jugging away and im up to 43.95, from my 24.50 starting original buy in I had from the 6th of april. Playing okay lately. I eally want to move back up to 3, as it will be much more profitable in the long run. But as shown on this thread I was doing some silly niggles here and there post flop, and the 3 tables(especially when tired) was taking that post flop edge away from me.

What I might start doing is two tabling, then adding a table for the last half an hour, does that sound sensible? But not until I up my bankroll first.

Anyway some nice hands, but still feel the maths could be more in my favour, but I shouldn't complain. At the moment im playing really ABC style, but I feel I have a plan B now for tighter tables, and a style for loser tables. So my games getting much more depth to it. Ive also started to play more heads up on empty tables. They say a true good player should never be afraid of heads up. So what better to learn then heads up for low stakes, and the tables fill up quickly anyway.

if you are winning playing 2 tables i'd stick to it.
from my cash experiences this year,every time I play more tables I lose.
I have tried playing 9 6 4 & 2 tables
I am now playing just 1 lol
which seems to be going ok atm.

withdrew 35 quid for this month, up 5 quid on my innitial buy in, and withdrawns 170 quid+ since march the 6th on my first attempt. Unfortunately i need every penny as possible so cant play in a while. But a breaks a good things and maing a profit with all the errors ive made is a good things. Been really busy at work Also so not had a chance to lay as much.

Will reload with 25/30 quid once ive beenpaid and start playing more in june hopefully.

With drew my winnings to fund a wedding and have been very busy at work. So have quite a while off.

2 tabled today to keep me out of the vitamin d. Finshed up 32 p.

Played fantastic, I was fresh and played very few silly hands, prob the best ive played since .

I have put in 30 quid and had a 2 quid 30 p cash bonus so up to 32.60.

back up to 30.46. Its really eird, I don't know if its because im putting in small volume since my month off. Bt im not losing or gaining. I take a step back, win money back, take a step foreward, think im going to go on a nice run and then have a beat down. Im bein very sensible, perhaps to sensible with my volume ive cocked at best 6/7 hours sincd my July return. So therefore not really settling in. But it seems tougher, a lot of people are on holiday and the weathers nice, so to be fair they probs doing other stuff.

Anyhow I apologised for this hand to the guy, because I thought I lucked out, but then checked on my odds calculator and realised that I actually was slightly better than a coin flip at 53 %, so I shouldn't have really apologised, especially with the run ive had.
