    .Just thinking, but i used to live in Spain, and i know a lot of ex-pats who would love sky to have a tour over
    in the south of Spain, just a thought....But i think i'll wind them up saying IT'S COMING....LOL

    In Response to Re: OyNutter going to OyDublin? :  Well, I'll try and explain----- There was this nutter bloke, he was always on the forum, being a nutter--- Then one day he had to go into hospital for a heart valve replacement ------ A lot of our Sky community was wishing him well and cheering him up on the forum, one of them (a fellow nutter) even came to see him! ----- Thus (with the help of his Julee ) he became famous ---- But he also became poor, stupid, ill and depressed---- Then one other day-- A kind old gentleman called Tikay, asked him how he was doing, and he said he was poor, stupid, ill and depressed--- Then Tikay asked him if he was going to go to Dublin for the SPT--- The nutter told him he was too poor to go, but would try and make it if he got lucky at poker-------- Another old gentleman, with a wrinkly face, that allegedly looks like he sucked a lemon, saw that the nutter had a very small chance of getting that lucky at poker, and decided to try to get the nutter up to Dublin------ He initiated a whip round for the nutter to go to Dublin--- and the rest is the beginning---------

    Do you mean register/buy-in for the Main Event on FRIDAY?

    I doubt that will be possible, as the Lobby will close for Registrations some time today. We have to send the list of Entrants over to the Venue by midday Friday, which is why it closes early Online.

    If you confirm to me that you are deffo playing the Main Event, I will arrange for a seat to be reserved somehow.

    Hi pokers of people, Me Julee and I are just leaving a sleepy fishing village, which is nearly as far away from Dublin as you can get---- 2 hours to michelstown co Cork--- staying there tonight, it's a third of the way there,-- then getting the bus in the morning---- should be there by midday saturday (touchwood)

     I hope this dosn't affect anyone else, but it looks like there will be a BUS STRIKE on sunday, so we might be stuck in Dublin for the forseeable future--lol----- not sure what the story is, but it should be ok by Monday--- check it out though if you are using Bus Eireann

     Thanks everyone, and a big thank you from Julette too--- see you all soon!

    To say that Oynutter was great fun and I am glad that we did this for him!  He seemed to really enjoy it.

    Also... Thanks to everyone who contributed. All pledges were paid, without fuss, promptly, which i have been told by a reliable source is very unusual for this type of thing. So WP all! :) 

    This thread demonstrates the Sky Poker Community at it's best!

    Not sure I can be classed as a "reliable source" Greg, but yes, I did say that.

    It IS most unusual for ALL pledges to be honoured though. When you see the "Children In Need" headline pledge figures, for example, in most cases a far lesser sum is received.

    I think you deserve our thanks for stepping up to the plate, & organising everything.
     
    As to Mr OyNutter & "our Julee", what a great thing the Community achieved here, & I'm so glad that many of us were able to meet the Great Man.

    Hi Everyone-- I'm still in floppin Dublin---lol--- The bus strike caught us out and we got a cheap room for the night

     A Massive thank you to everyone!!-- We really had a great time meeting you all ---- I enjoyed every minute of it except the one that had my exit hand in it--- lol ----

     The SPT was brilliant fun --- meeting Tikay and Greghogg! --- meeting loads of forumites and players-- playing a live game was a terrific experience and I really hope spt comes to Dublin again! ---

     The whole Experience has been absolutely brilliant lads lasses, and I can't possibly thank everyone enough for making it happen! ---- What a community we have!!

     I will do a write up when I get back to my pc, so for now, just a massive thanks to you all !!!!

    Hi Mr oynutter. You can get to Cork City with the Aircoach from Westmoreland St in Dublin city centre. If you want the coach tickets I can organise it no problem with no cost to you.
