I'm in - can I ask that the league is closed at say the end of September to prevent someone who may be doing well in FF from hijacking the prizes?

Hi all this is a genuine question and not a brag post. After Saturdays games I'm joint 1st in our own private league. But I've noticed the chap I'm tied with had a load of players in his team that played on Sunday, and the points gained have yet to be added. Hence I'm guessing he's made several substitutions. I thought any teams would stand week to week, and that any subs made wouldnt count til the following weeks round of games. Am I wrong, and have I dropped a bolloc@??

Also I've noticed several teams with a locked key after their name. Is this a way of keeping your team a secret? And how?

You get 40 transfers in the competition sometimes its worth having a punt making multiple transfers early just to get your 15 minutes of fame on the leaderboard.

I'll have lost interest by next month so i make my transfers early.

But as you're taking it seriously its worth transferring your captain as you get double points each game

Its worth remembering you can change your captain twice a week
So tonight you could select a Man City or Newcastle player then on Wednesday a Chelsea or Aston Villa player but if you transfer the player you have chosen as captain out on Saturday for RVP or Benteke for example they will take over captaincy and score double points if you change the captain on Sunday you could have four players scoring double poins at the expense of two transfers.
Having said that, My points score is still rubbish lol So choose yourr captains wisely!

Think Dunmidosh covered this pretty well, you get a certain amount of tranfers across the whole season so some might be gambling by making most their changes mid game-week early on to get a good start but might come undone later in the season when their hands are tied with no transfers left.

As far as I know (and I don't know that far) under the "MY Teams" section you can select a padlock or a world symbol - I think that's choosing between whether your team can be seen by others or not. We can't see any other teams in the Sky Poker league by the looks of it..

I think that's a fair point. I can't see an option our side to actually close the league though. I'll try and find out and get back to you.

Looks like there isn't an option for this but in February it will be closed automatically to new entrants to limit the chances of this happening some what.

I think that's right Gruntex:

"You can now make a captain change within the Game week. Just like transfers, you can make this alteration for any match day, thus giving you the opportunity to score double points from two of your players over the duration of the Game week."

your team will update by end of match day tomorrow (likely sunday morning your points will then show). i registered on mon nite after i saw this posted for first time and hadnt seen it originally post 5 days previously so joined also but had to wait until thurs (morning after chelsea villa game) to have my points total seen in league. 

before i got in it had me listed as n/a along with a load of others who were signing up for this particular league mid week. and i had an x as well so youll be grand youll be in hope this clear that up
