Thursday Night LIVE on Sky Poker TV (Channel 861 7pm-12am) with Rich and Ryan ***official show threa

I suppose my proudest moment has to be selecting an alias that no presenter or expert can say comfortably.

That, and winning the Primo from a £6 satty ;)

Get all your banter, questions, hand requests etc. etc to us either on this thread, via email skyopen@bskyb.com or via Twitter #skypoker

Ryan of course, is fresh back off coming 60th in EPT Barcelona. Pretty impressive. And hardly any of us have something to match that...yet.

But... no matter what level we're at, we've all had a peak moment in poker. So what's yours..?

What's your proudest poker moment so far?

    Here's two from me-

Winning the regular MTT at Luton Casino the first time I ever visited the place. Right in front of Tikay who plays it every week. Sweet.
Also, a 1st and a 2nd in the main event on Sky.

Maybe you've just started out, so yours will be something like: "I  finished in my highest placing in a tournament (48th) a fortnight ago" or "I won 2 £5 SNGs in a row."

It doesn't matter how big or small, we want to hear it and I'll read them all out on the show throughout the night.

    See you Thursday!

    Hi Rich & Ryan

My proudest moment would be winning the Monday night DTD and earning my Hitsquad colours :-)

Richard, good luck in the 'Presenters' P45 Sit and Go' on Monday.

Kudos to Sky for coming up with such an original Human Resources policy: Sack whoever comes last. Great idea!

Whilst we're on the subject, has anyone any predictions for the live presenter sng?

    I believe the players are...

    Richard Orford
    James Hartigan
    Anna Fowler
    Sarah Champion
    Jules Sowa
    Tatjana Pasalic
  • edited September 2013

James will win or Sarah will play super tight and get luck HU. Sorry Can't see you finishing top 5 :s

Proudest poker moment: Played and won a $2 SnG with Kidpoker!! Think it was a prop bet of his he had to play a 1,000 of them or something within a month. I prob hold a record for the most 2nd places in MTT's on SKY as my HU is a disgrace to mankind.

Hope you have a great show, Thursdays are usually the best will hopefully play some master cash or if possible the BH

Thanks Kalie- that kidpoker brag is sick!

    Brilliant!

I once lost two consecutive games of heads up against this richorford bloke when he was doing a challenge last year. It's not a brag and its not my proudest poker achievement but its one I bet no one else will own up to doing!

I think my proudest poker achievement is still ongoing. I have reached the final table of just two main events here on sky. I have won both of them giving me a final table to win ratio of 100%.

My bet is that they'll make the Presenter Sit & Go an "all-in" S&G, and that Anna will win with a large pair

    Evening guys,

I'll post some hand IDs up when I get back to my laptop where I have a few interesting IDs written down.

As for proudest poker moment, it 100% has to be when I got picked by Tikay to be part of Team Sky Poker

My proudest poker moment to date well i have two. Not sure one can be aired so will say both.

    1. Being chip leader in UKIPT Nottingham. The less said about how it went after the better.

    2. Winning a HU winner takes all 128 runner mtt. When i entered a few friends said i had no chance. Was nice to shove it in their face :P

15 minutes to go till we go live!

This is a thin brag with a genuine question attached...

The last 4 Wednesday Main Events (rebuy open), I've managed an outright win, a 2nd (last night), a 4th and a 9th. Was curious to know what the record might be in terms of cashing/top 10 finishes in consecutive weekly Main's. eg has someone done 5 Primo cashes in a row? Or perhaps 6 SS BH cashes consecutively?

PS- Mattbates isn't eligable to answer this.

    Regards, 'Harry'.

It's got to be said that I've played quite a bit with Sarah lately and she's not a bad player at all...

    Sarah FTW!

    Hand ID - 689078904

3 handed so things are a bit fruity to say the least!  I wasnt worried about grimreaps reraise pre - think he's doing this with Ax's and low PPs pre.  I was more worried about the 3 bet from RossyBee pre... I thought I'd see a flop in position.  The flop is near enough perfect for me (baring a 10), but it all kicks off on the flop and I think im forced to fold.

No idea what was going on!   Good fold?

What does Ryan think about this hand?

I've checked back the turn because I don't think I'm ever getting 3 streets of value from worse in this spot. The villians range is pretty narrow imo after flatting the 4bet and the flop, so I think if I check the turn then it allows him to value bet JJ/QQ on the river... if he doesn't V-bet them himself then I've got position and I think I'm more likely to get a call from JJ/QQ after checking the turn.

But when the river comes a queen and he donks the river, I'm behind to AA as I always was but I've now gone behind to QQ.... don't think he's donking JJ so can I just fold?

Hi rich and ryan ,well done in barcelona.
trying hard to play online have my right wrist strapped up, so multitabling hard.
My proudest poker moment so far was winning a $330 tournament at ceasers palace.  Just felt so good with all those poker pro pictures around me, in the home town of poker

    Hi Richard and Ryan

My proudest poker moment will be Final Tabling 1am £200 Gtd 5 times out of 7 I played. Finished 1st, 2nd, 1st, 4th and 2nd. I also made my SPT debut which was very enjoyable and had a good wkend.

I have a few proud poker moments.

One was coming 2nd in the main and 1st in the mini on the same night, just missing out on the £10k jackpot.
One was winning the monday night main in January.

    But my proudest?

Probably satelliting into SPT nottingham for £15, playing in my first ever live poker tournament and cashing in the top 25.
