That's a bit dissappointing.
It's a shame to see no satellites for the 6 max event.

Yes, I'm sure it will disappoint a few, but this whole UK Poker Championship Main Event is a big thing for us, & we want to make sure that all our efforts go into the Main Event, & not spread the satellites around too much, otherwise it'll get terribly complicated.

Fair enough. I understand and I think everyone will.
How will SKY bring people to the site for the satellites? As this is a big event will we see some ads in other channels like skysports apart from 861?
Also I saw that the event is planned to be televised on skysports also. What would the coverage be like? Just some highlights after the end of the tournament or is it going to be a live coverage?

Thanks George.
Advertising - we don't want to give too much away at present, but the Marketing plans have been carefully constructed, & you may well be see it promoted in various places.
The Sky Sports TV coverage will not be live, no. It will be a series of Shows built around the Festival as a whole, behind the scenes, sideys, preparation, organisation, interviews, with at least one episode concentrating on the Main Event Final Table.
There MAY be a Live Stream of the Final Table, possibly on 861 & elsewhere, but that has yet to be decided, there are some matters to resolve before that decision is made.

Now the structure. Again, subject to change, but these are the current plans.
Clock - 60 minutes.
Starting stack - 30,000
Blinds. Level 3 is repeated, with the addition of Running Antes.
Payouts?
Clearly, a function of how many ruunners, & therefore the total Prize Pool, but at present, based on 500 runners, it looks something like this.......
WINNER - £110,000
2nd - £60,000
3rd - £32,500
Would mean a lot of people coming to the event if they change the name
Satellites for this begin today, good luck all.
The journey begins......
The Satellite Structure is in the Lobby now, full details are HERE
BOOM!
Quick question will all the satalites just be for the main event or will there be any for the side events such as the heads up?

Cheers Steve
Good luck Steve.
The name of the winner of the first seat will be on this thread by tomorrow morning.
It is in the Lobby now, but does not open for registration until 2pm.
If you can't find it, it is in at least 2 places....
1) The UKPC tab
2) The Freeroll tab.
If you still can't see it, untick "REG ONLY" & it will appear, as if by magic.
In tonight's UKPC Freeroll, blind levels increase every 5 minutes, & Late Reg is for 4 levels.
Do you think late reg will apply lol nearly 1500 online at the mo
Don't tell a soul, right?
They know value when they see it.
Ha, get in lads, 30 after 6 minutes.
Reckon it will get at least, ooh, 100?
