Right folks, it's almost time for the off!

As of 6pm tonight you can start trying to spin your £5 into £200

Remember, no top ups allowed at any level and no stepping back down levels once you've sat down with your first £5, and it all needs to happen on Mastercash tables.

    Good Luck Everyone!
  • edited December 2013
Keep us all updated on here about how your spin up is going, what level you're up to etc.

Also it would be good if we could get some hands posted that have helped (or hindered) you along the way. Please include the hand ID too so we could get them on 861.

    Thanks

does it have to be one consistant spin on one table and can you leave table with 4.50 for example  then rejoin another mc table with 4.50 the same day or in a weeks time.

what mentalist is going to track progress :)

It will have to be one step one after the other (on the same table for each level) - so one sit down, followed by the next at the next level up as setout in OP.

People will claim their win on here and we (Sky Poker) will verify they have met the criteria.

What happens if you sit down on one mastercash table... win some money (but not quite enough) then everyone realises just how aweseome you are and leaves for the other mastercash table at that level... can you shift your chips over too?

Probably more relevant if you get tired but havent completed the challenge...

I suspect there will be alot of flipping going on for 50bb at NL10 tonight!

So you have to complete the level on the same MC tables you start on.

So lets say I make it to nl50 on MC8 but I have to go to bed.
So tomorrow I have to sit down at the same table with the minimum requirement or the same amount I left the table with the previous night.

Does this have to be done in one continous session ?

Ideally it would be within the same session to allow checking to be simpler for you and us. Might be best to not start the next level if you might not have time (of course we understand this is not always black & white).

That said we'd show discretion so if it was clear that, for example, you got from £10 to £20 (needing to get to £25) but stopped at the end of the night then the very next game you played the day after was getting you from £20 to £25 at the same level of blinds, we'd likely say that was OK.

We don't want to complicate this for people too much but does that seem fair?

If I wasn't on nights this week, I'd be hunting down the challengers and trying to put a spanner in their works.

    I'm looking at you, Gazza.

Do you think that people trying this challenge would likely play differently?

I think, certainly at the early levels, that people will be looking for a good gambling spot to try and spin it up. I know I wouldn't be folding J10s for 50bb ;)

Am I gonna be the first one to complete the first step? Either that or no-one else is bothering posting about it... come on folks!!

This was the 2nd hand after I sat down, was hoping to just get it in pre, but then thought I'd just take a punt that villian might fancy a gamble with a diamond... just 2 overs to dodge instead.
