can i start on a non master cash table since there are none available??
  • edited December 2013
sod it, im starting on a non mast cash table - I'll move to a mast cash table if there is one available if/when I move up...I have to start in the next few minutes or I'm not going to bother
  • edited December 2013
Sorry Melt but it won't count on a non mastercash table.

Deffo a point I was gonna raise with Sky though. I think with this going on, in the evenings there's probably gonna be enough action to run 4-5 MC tables at 10NL and it'll probably slightly increase 20NL upwards

Ul mate just win one more 40/60...   :(

I'm giving some updates on the show on 861 on Sunday so could you post some interesting hand IDs if you've got them.. I'm sure yours will be interesting cos I doubt you'll be nitting it up

Hand ID wise I mean like just when you go to your HHs, just C+P the bit at the top that says time/date/hand number and let me know the number of the MC table it was so they can show it on Sunday.

    Cheers

that was the only time I got it in preflop! but your right, I definately made some questionable but aggressive plays.

here are all the significant pots:
    level1: Master Cash 2 - 14 hands
716629834 - erm...didnt believe him, might push off a T and didnt want to see a QKorA on river
716631488 - flopped the word, the turn chucked in a couple of moons too. was planning on check raising the turn, but it got checked through.

    level2: Mast cash 3 - 6 hands
716634806 - hand shown above. apparently I should have bet the turn too, but I thought it might scare people off since ther was 4 to a straight.

    level 3: master cash 7 - 10 hands
716640606 - semi bluff turn, bluff river after villain didnt cbet an A high flop.
716641222 - 3bet A9, 9 high flop. not sure what the villain could have that would play like this - call flop and turn then flod a blank river JT maybe.

    level 4: master cash 10 - 47 hands
716645236 - 3bet 88 from BB vs SB raise called flop bet after 1 overcard, turn was an 8, but villain folded to my bet :(
716655400 - rivered 2nd pair, and picked off their bluff for a big pot

    level 5: master cash 13 - 13 hands
716659163 - My bust hand :(   ...I'm pretty sure rosiedog 3bets any playable hand when in position, so I went for it with 9T, thinking he would fold alot of his range - he doesn't know me and I guess he would have to readless + lots of equity against hands like AQ/AK...he called with AK and held/hit an A on fiver.

interesting question - on one of the levels I got JJ the hand after I made it to the next level, but I hadnt sat out yet, so I decided to play. If I had lost the pot, would it have meant I had to keep going till I got my cash back up again?

I still managed to make £30 profit or so, because of the money I had to bank instead of moving up to the next level with it

dammit just realised i didnt put the time/dates - does that matter paul?

just started level 1 again...some quirky play going on on my table :)

failed level 3 - I 3bet ATs (after a 5x iso raise) leaving a pot sized bet behind. flop was xsxs4. I shoved, and villain snapped me off with As4s. thats all for tonight. may have another go tomorrow. Kinda wishing I didnt gamble so much on the last level on my first attempt now.
