    Unlucky with the JJ hand Gazza, I can't believe he called!  Now don't take this the wrong way, and I'm not singleing you out here as other regs are also doing it, but a few of you seem to be leaving the villians name in when posting hands.  It's just that a few of you had a go at me for doing just this a while back (and rightly so).  I was wondering, is this something we're allowed to do so long as it's not posted in the clinic thread?

    Thanks. Got a touch of the jitters last night, sat and watched the tables for a bit to see how it played. My account balance is currently around £650 so it feels a bit foolish to sit down with £100 to play against Style, Rosiedog and others who if I'm lucky will 'only' have £400 in front!  That said, I did really enjoy the 100NL game yesterday, even playing heads up for a time! Waaayy out of my comfort zone, and felt surprisingly comfortable.

    All being well I'll be waving my carrots about 8pm tonight at 200NL.

    Ok made it to 200nl, but all the players left the table so no game running. I'll try again when I am online.

    So basically I joined nl200 table and they all run away, no joke - I would like to think it's because I am so pro - but maybe not :)

    Spin £5 into £200 at Mastercash - can you do it?  Yes.  Yes I can!

    I am very happy to have had a go at this.  Achieved it at only the second time of asking.  I wish there were more interesting hands I could share with you all, but I was only there for 23 hands in total.  If you want the secret, just go cooler people :)

    I actually only actively played 4 hands at 200NL (they were all profitable!), so here they all are.


    717207711  My first blood, cold 4-bet jammed QQ, got folds but a bit of confidence, a bit more wriggle room and the got the blood pumping

    717211409  Played AJs from the BB passively as I was OOP and heads up vs a guy who seemed to be opening on my blinds quite a bit (nice sample size eh, but you get the feeling!).  Boring hand, checked out to the river on a low board, paired off with a 6 on the river and called a bet and took a small pot with A-high.
    +£15.12

    717211896  Very dull hand, nothing to see, opened JTs from button, flop QT9r, took it down with a c-bet
    +£7.30

    717212517  The clincher.  Having built up a bit of room, I decided to peel a 3-bet from the button after opening with 44.  Probably don't have the odds to set-mine in regularly play, but I know if I hit I've a good chance of taking down the challenge if I get 2 streets of value.  Not only do we flop the set, but it's a very dry board K43r, and oppo has pretty much the only hand I can stack him with, AK.  It all goes in on the turn, but still a sweat.  River's a blank and couldn't get out of there any faster (was my BB next hand).  Apologised for having done so in the Chat.

    Good luck all having a go, I've had great fun, and made a bit of money just in time for Christmas.

    It can be done over a number of days but each 'level' needs to be done in 1 day. So I'd suggest not sitting down with say the £10 @ 20NL if you think you can only play for 20 minutes because you can't stop and start mid-level. But if you do get that to £25 you can leave there and then stick your £25 on at 50NL the next day and that's fine.

    Thanks for the 'grats guys.

    @fishtales, sometimes tables might break or whatever, or you find you've been sitting there for 3 hours and just can't get that last BB. Never happened to me, but if it did I'm sure Sky would be ok if they could see that you sat back down another time at the same level with the same buy-in that you left with.  Just a guess.

    @lambert, I could possibly go back to find more interesting hands from different levels if you think it's worth it (don't want a show of my own though lol).
