Had a little mini session but despite a sslight loss, mangaed to sat into the 2k BH at 9.30pm
EDIT got it up to 913pts although lost a bit in the process - nothing serious tho and feel good about this king of cash 5k frerroll - nother 87 to go- will update tommorow

Finished day 40 over £30 down , but not to fussed. Thought i would play DYM,s today for a change while i get pts to 1k. Managed so far to play 2 and mess2 up as below - The cardinal sin in a DYM against a tight player didn,t have to play it - looking at it now tho its a bit more marginal

In regards to my post earlier it wasn't because of poker that I stopped playing. It was other reasons and now I only really play the DTD and the Orfordable for fun. Stick in the odd DYM (PLO for preference) and thats it really. I do enjoy it once I get going. its just the getting going thats the problem.
Anyhoo, enjoying the diary, hope you keep it going.
Its hard to post after a bad day and you see your Roll diminish, but this diary was to get me going again. If you don,t want to post a diary then try writing down your results on paper or spreadsheet if your computer literate. I,m not and did it on paper one month . This really helped me as well
Also like yourself i try different forms of the game - always makes it more interesting

Still undecided on what to play tonight. Might have a bit of fun and play the DTD but 1st a cpl of satelites and a cpl of cash tables (5p action ) i think
EDIT : ( 1 hour later )- played my 1st UKOPS satelite before. Didn,t even realise it had started until level 3, but got off to a good start to find myself 1st of 19 with 5 seats , but unfornately bust out near the bubble
Cash wasn,t to good either but won a small bit bk on timed tourney

EDIT - just decided to play the DTD tonight - cant go wrong - 3 games for a fiver

Good start to the day without playing a hand. Just read on GPC that i,ve got an entry to the FR for "Top of the posts for October, due i presume to keeping this diary going". If i remember rightly (will have to check) its a 6 player sit and go with winners from other sections such as Punters Corner, Team talk, GPC, etc and even if you come last (not that i,m planning to) you still get something.
Some v. good players in there inc. Maxallly who,s also posted on here. ( WD Maxy ) If there was abook you,d probably expect the "Poker clinic" winner to be favourite but should be fun on Friday
EDIT - session 1 (6.26pm) - Gonna play a cpl more sats and maybe some timed tourneys

Can i get a reeeeewinde. Just looking back over some of the months highs and lows and trying to figure out where improvements need making etc when i noticed since goin away last week i,ve added on the days i went away twice so going back to the OP and starting again, this (30th October ) is actually day 36 and not 43 as i started on 24th of September. Silly me
With so much going on tonight including UKOPS , last day of King for Cash etc theres a lot to choose from, but after qaulifying for "Top of the posts " on Friday i will be playing in my pub leaugue tonight as its held on Wednesdays and Fridays so need to get some more pts on the board, plus theres footy on. Just had a quick 20 mins on the cash tables
Highs and Lows
The lowest point came on day 12 where i was already down and decided to play Smitalos with £300 on £1 / £2 which i,ve never even tried before - £98 ( whole balance ) gone in 5 mins. We live and learn
The highs
1/ Just to keep this diary running and finally hitting 1k pts for the first time in a while - Couldn,t have done it w/o this diary
2/ Day 41 ,(before i mixed up my days ) where i almost dbld my Roll after entering a 1k BH for £10 and finishing 3rd. I,d only just got in and if i had realised how late it was i,d have never have played it
3/ Getting recognition for my diary and being entered into Fridays "Top of the posts" SNG
4/ Finishing on the highest total i,ve had so far

Aims for November
1/ Keep this diary going
2/ Spend a bit more time away from the tables learning and trying to improve my cash game which from NL10 and Nl20 hasn,t been great
3/ Keep playing live at least twice a week and try to qualify from nuts leaugue as well as own pub leaugue final in December
4/ Only play when i feel up for it and just enjoy it - Only target nxt month is to be in profit and play some SPT satelites and hopefully qualify

Not played last cpl of days but managed a 2nd in the £50 gtd (£5.50) and still lost £4 due to a rebuy and add on and only 6 players. Last hand - thought i had it tho

Played in the Redtooth leaugue tonight at a local pub. Its a bit different to the Nuts leaugue but luckily it was the 1st game of the new 13 week season so that looks like my Monday nights filled up for the next few weeks. Didn,t expect to be playing so much live at the start of the diary but really enjoying it and learning all the time
Came 4th tonight from 12 and bubbled - Had a tricky spot on a 3 way pot with 2 all ins. Had the Ace of spades on a 3 spade flop - Against 1 person i mights have folded but due to the size of the pot and the odds i was getting i called it - Hit another spade on turn but the board paired on the river and gave someone a FH. Went out a few hands later

Not down hearted tho as i thought i played quite well with a cvpl of heroe calls i wouldnt normally make, but as TK says "When the story doesn,t fit"
Made it through to the 6k Open with 2 seats available from 19 players so chuffed with that
Also still in the £50 gtd although its only 1st place that pays - EDIT it cost me another £11 with a rebuy and addon but my KQ got busted Q 10 - Also didn,t buy inbto the mini as i was down to 700 chips after 10 mins - Got back up to 2.5k and suffered a pretty sick bt A 7 hearts vs Q 8 hearts on a Jack high board - turn brough a Q and river an 8 with no hearts
Will also have to buy into mini open for that chance of the JP and also got bankbuster to play - Should be good as its PLO today
Although still had the 5k King of cash FR to play and the £3 Bankbuster.
I was concentrating more on the FR to be honest as iwas in 1st from about 130 down to 100, but finished 46th - still a nice cash tho for £37.50
And then came the PLO Bankbuster. I don,t play much PLO but do have a decent record in the few low stakes games i,ve played but this has to go down as my best PLO win by a long shot - £131 and i think it gets dbld (as part of the promo ) but have to wait and see on that
All in all a gr8 day after one of the worst starts since starting my diary
