    How to lose a BR? Play as GaryLaud and go AIPF with QQ's and you're guaranteed to lose each n every time. I cannot win with the ladies on ANY SITE at present no matter what I do or how I play with them.

    AA's are a big pain for me at present as well.

    I read your progress daily and notice you like to post your ducks of the day hands.

    I hate playing 22 and usually fold pre, but thought I would give them a chance today.
    3 out of 4 times  I got them, I hit the set on the flop.

    If you're loyal to the quacks, they'll be loyal to you too...and to be fair, there's not much difference between dragons and ducks :D

    Dear Mrs Duck

    Sometimes i'm having problems with the ducks.

    Like you know, you see a flop and nit fold because there's 3 overs out, and would have setted up on the turn and quadaroonies up by the river.

    WHat's best to do, like we 3 bet our might 22's and a nit 4 bets us so we know they have Aces or Kings, do you think it's best just to 5 bet jam?

    Or is it best just to slow play them, like just call the 4 bet and get it in on the flop?

    All help with the 2's dilemma greatly appreciated:D

    Firstly ~ You've gotta have faith!
    Secondly ~ Don't stop believing!

    As for 5 bet jamming, that's akin to shouting out "GIVE ME A QUACKKKK!" and Ducks don't like being told what to do and they can also be quite fickle so I would just call the 4 bet, trust them and see if your trust is repaid :)

    Sometimes they move in mysterious ways...and don't forget, they can be mischievous too!
    Take for example yesterdays quacks of the day ~ unconventional but got the job done (sorry Dev!)

    Hope yr enjoying your HOLS - one thing I will say is that I have recently used the app on my iphone and now that they've moved upto V4 they've clearly listened to some of the feedback as the call/raise/fold buttons and the pre-set buttons for bet sizing are alot more bigger and more responsive. Before you needed a pinpoint pen in order to push them, and such styluses wouldn't work with my 3GS, which seems to like the touch from human skin t operate!

    But yea I echo your sentiment exactly that the app is now alot easier to use! just need to sort out the buttons at the top which I found are still too  small and aren't working for me on my 3gs.

    Helloooo!
    Back from my lovely holibob, back to my lovely students and back down from the lovely +£200!

    Was really nice to get away from work for a week and get into the countryside, it doesn't matter where I go really but I need to get out of Oxford in order to stop thinking about classes and grammar and planning and all that. Clear air, fields, trees, cows, ducks on rivers and walking, drinking and playing board and card games really helps to reset my batteries :) Working as an hourly paid teacher is a bit catch 22 at times. Summer is really busy so it's unwise to take a holiday and lose out on potential earnings then, and then Winter can be too quiet and you feel bad for spending money or it's not possible to take a holiday at all because you're not earning enough. I get trapped in this situation pretty much every year, one day I'll learn to save and plan ahead...maybe!

    Day 21 ~ still in profit...it's a Christmas miracle! :D

    Still plugging away ~ tourneys going badly, DYMs going more or less smoothly and CASH going great!
    Having some serious adventures in NL30 the last two days, getting far more respect than I really deserve, which is fantastic! :)
    I'm not going to include every little transaction in the diary anymore I don't think...cos it's kinda boring and time consuming but I've been recording DYM results for the month and I've decided to start posting them Hotwheals styley - ie every time I hit having played 10 at any level.
    Just hit my first 10 at £5.50 and £11.00 so here's the results -

    Won 5 Lost 5 Profit - £5.00

    £11.00 DYM
    Won 7 Lost 3 Profit + £30.00
