Sigh - you've lost a couple of points there Ducky.
First time I've posted a hh and asked for advice, so be gentle please!
Three handed at a 50nl MC table, X is a fairly frequent reg who I've got tagged as a good player. He is known to re-raise pre and on any street without fear, quite regularly, and I've caught him doing it as a bluff twice.
So...
~ What should Ducky do?
As a good, creative reg I'd imagine the squeeze pre would be a fairly wide range.
They probably have to bet most flops then, although depends on how wide they think you call 3-bets. If they've missed completely then it may not be worth them bombing when it's quite likely to hit hands you'd call 3bets with?
So when you call flop, oppo can rule out most suited connectors and mid-small PPs (unless you've been floating lots). Has to put you on (mostly) a range of broadway combos, many of which are likely to call the turn c/r, so if he's bluffing then it's only to push you off of any Tx straight draws of Jx one pair hands, maybe AK.
Therefore I can't see many hands that we beat here. And I sigh fold. Find a cat to kick if oppo flicks over some piece of cheese or QT.
But I'm no poker player. Just passing time on my lunch break. Look forward to reading the views of people that are, you know, quite good at poker
really intesting hand this one i like villians line alot what for me the most important here is what villian thinks of u does he think u a pc type player who will xb the turn with a one pair draw combo ( with the flop play u have this about 80% of the time) or does he think u a agro type that will bet/barrel a scare card vs weakness
if u agro type a x/r shove with aces and kings from villian is a really nice play IMO and pritty sure will be a + ev play
if however villian thinks u a pc type player who takes free cards and no likes to inflate the pot unless u have a made hand it's a great x/r especailly with 9-9 j-j as he knows u got a-q k-q or to a lesser degree a slow played k-10 also he could think if he barrels it might scare alot of your marginal pair drawing hands out being as it's a paired board this way if u have q u will bet and if u have draw he might get some value on river if he slow plays and u hit, if he has j-j u are also a lot more heavily weighted to having a q than if he had 9-9 IMO love the play with j-j there

Unforch the one glitch in the system is that it starts at 3 ~ otherwise i'd def be a ducky squillionnaire
