im only 18 but would like to take part in the tourneys, which one do you reckon is best for me to gain experience?

the mini UKPC at the start of the festival probably best, but tell me more

where do you live? probably best to get some live poker experience at lower buy in levels first before the UKPC

hi mate i do play many tourneys which includes the turbos. Last tuesday i finished 22nd and won over 

£200. i also do many DYM aswell. im also from cornwall.

Cornwall? if you are gonig to play live in the KPC events without much live experience i'd recommend getting to somewhere like Genting Torquay (or even pub games, home games) to get some live (casino if possible) poker experience before mixing it in bigger buy ins

Hi, I have posted on another thread but can't seem to get an answer.

I have won a main event package via the best of the best promo, but I am on holiday on the 15th so cannot make it. I have tried to change the date of the holiday but this would be too expensive for me. Do I still keep the £500 awarded as part of the package? Is it possible for Sky to enter me into the Mini instead??

I have spoken to CC and they have forwarded it onto the Poker team who will be in touch. Their gut feeling was that because I had already been awarded the extra £500 that came with the package then it was highly unlikely that they would ask for it back.

This was important because if this £500 had to be returned then I may as well pay the added cost of changing the date of my holiday as there is not much difference between the two.

As for receiving a Mini seat instead.......they had no idea lol. This would be great if it was possible as I would love to attend the UKPC! Just have to wait for the poker team to get in touch.

Clearly said it was the structure for the Turbo side in Feb. Click the link for the proper main event structure. And even if that was the starting stack, 250bb is not to be sniffed at.

it starts at 12pm on 12th/13th/14th. you'll be offered the chance to select which day one you wish to play

i would think every sky poker qualifier would be emailed with all the relevant details (where is dtd/timings etc) but yes, just turn up before midday on the starting day you have chosen, and you will be on the seat draw

doors will open at 11.30am

250xbb starting with a one hour clock is standard, in my experience for this type of buy in

an hour clock in live six max....lots of play!
