TK does need to come back soon, I've had my donking boots ready for days!
I'll be playing a lot less PLO8 now too, I usually play like a lunatic at the beginning of the month, as my own challenge is to get 3000 points every month, once I've got close I then play normally and results tend to improve. Stupid chasing the points I know, but that's a challenge I can't seem to kick.
My goal now is to try the bravery award. Twice I've won up to and including the £5 game, then given up as there's no chance of the £11 game starting! So, I'll be starting that again each night about 5PM with the 60p game and seeing how far I can get.
ps. And to answer a chat-box comment, yes, I have once won a game, and no, I haven't lost thousands of pounds!

And yeah, gotta love AJ! He sums up everything I love about low stakes PLO8/poker, winning or losing means nothing, it's having fun that matters. Posted by Macacgirl1
+1 Can you imagine the furore if I had busted a random out of a NL dym the way I did jimb0d in that plo8 the other day?
I know Phantom! Death threats and questions regarding your parentage would have probably followed.
I don't understand it, never, ever, will. I mean, how can winning or losing a few pounds be important to anyone? If someone wins a DYM do they start fist pumping and jumping around their living room because they have £2.70p extra in the BR? Well, TK might if he's won by knocking me out, but generally.....
I'm done, finished with a profit so I'm pretty happy with that. I might do the same again but with NLHM DYM's as I've never kept track of any progress I made until this. If I decide to do another 100 PLO8 DYM's I'll start posting again. OK, I played NLHM DYM's for one night and got bored.
So here goes for the 2nd 100 before the end of the month starting... now!
o dear, propping up the bottom of the leaderboard, better pull me socks up a bit im gonna try for a target of 40%, and even tho it means I will have an overall loss, I will be pleased with that

Plenty of people on this thread and at the tables would be glad to share their wisdom with you if you ask. Keep plugging away

thank you Talon, very much appreciated. I think I have been playing too loose and chasing a few hands when I really should have folded.
Gonna play a bit tighter, and off to a good start having won a game tonight
Only time for 2 tonight in between main mini and DTD, won the first lost the second. Ran horrible in the NLHE MTTs and probably lost focus. The losses hurt the win rate late on so need to curb it quick.
In Response to Re: Calling All PLO8 DYM Players, Our Competition, Scoreboards, Results, Chirps & Whatnot. : rofl Amazingly, we BOTH hit a diamond flush, but yours was bigger, & there was no low. Anyway, the Objection remains valid. Who rules on these things? I demand you be penalised for such disgraceful play & binkage. Posted by Tikay10
Objection overruled. 8833 is a brilliant hand. It can make QUADS .....TWICE! And has a low draw too.
What more do you want from a hand? Call yourself an expert? Pishhh

Click on tab SIT & GO
Click on tab OMAHA HI LO
Click on tab Double Your Money
OK?
and just back in the black on the profit front
Gonna play a bit tighter, and off to a good start having won a game tonight
5/16, 31%
Currently trying for my "It's Rigged, Obviously" in the 2nd 100.
Running total, won 49/73
which ran out as .. LLWWL
The last hand in the last game hurt a lot house over house, he got there on the river
Only hurt because I would have been on 3 straight wins, alas it remains at 2
(note to self. Don't chase goals just play the game, RESULTS WILL COME)
Right! With 25% of challenge completed the stats are:
played 25 .. won 8 .. lost 17
which doesn't look half bad, when you say I've only lost 17 out of a 100 games I'll be playing.
Many thanks for the kind words of encouragement on this thread.
OH, OH forgot to mention I came first in one of the dym's, and macagirl1 came third (who's the Daddy)
Regards Alan
now 6/17, 35%
many thanks to macac for winning the game
Morning all.
At long last, I got started last night.
Did not exactly set the world on fire, I felt a bit ring-rusty, but it was a couldabin night. Couldabin a lot worse, couldabin a lot better.
Results follow.....
Games played 8, as follows....
£3.30, P4, W1, L3
£5.50, P3, W2, L1
£11.00, P1, W1, L0
TOTAL TO DATE
P8, W4, L4 = 50%.
The Patented Predict-O-Meter.
After much work with a spreadsheet, I've calculated my possible final total with extreme accuracy after just 8 games
Worst possible outcome is 4%
Best possible outcome is 96%
SO I predict I will win between 4% & 96% of my 100 games.
In further amazing ability to see into the future, I also predict that that gap between 4% & 96% will probably narrow.
Actual current Predict-O-Meter reading is....
4%--------96%
OFFICIAL OBJECTION
Macacgirl raises, I shove all-in.
Macac types "oh no, can I have my chips back?" but still calls.
Predictably, Macac has spanner-spanner-spanner-spanner, & I have a Triple Star Grade A Combo Premium.
Can't remember her actual hand, but I think it was 8-8-8-3.
She got her chips back.
Grounds for Objection - outrageous spite raise & call.
Amazingly, we BOTH hit a diamond flush, but yours was bigger, & there was no low.
Anyway, the Objection remains valid.
Who rules on these things?
I demand you be penalised for such disgraceful play & binkage.
What more do you want from a hand? Call yourself an expert? Pishhh
Actually, 8888 would have been better.
