that is still the case, as i asked again yesterday

no immediate plans, they are on hold, but not gone for ever.

the idea of a couple of community events a year, around the UKPC dates, is still one that appeals, certainly

It is probable that the February UKPC festival will start the previous weekend with an affordable low buy in Mini, too.

Will pop the full schedule up when i get it

That event has not been formally announced yet, that will be made known in the next week or so, so best wait until then before making that decision. The buy-in has not been made known yet, either.

However, I think it unlikely that Sky Poker will run satellites for it.

Let's wait until that event is announced though, then it can be properly addressed.

    Hi Gordon,

    Yikes!

I'm afraid I have no idea why that is, & I'm struggling to even guess what the reason may be.

I've sent a polite note upstairs to see if they can shed some light on it.

If I get a reply, I'll let you know.

    Gordon (& others).

    I had a reply within 60 seconds.

The UKPC Satellites for today will appear, as if by a miracle, very shortly.

    Apologies.

You had better win one now, right?
  • edited November 2014

Today's UKPC Satellites are now starting to populate the Lobby.

They don't all appear instantly, but there are 7 there now, & maybe more to follow shortly.
  • edited November 2014

They are all in the Lobby now I think, & the first one starts in 10 minutes. It currently has 2 runners, it needs 3 to run, & 5 to meet the Guarantee. Might be some value.

All the other usual daily (except when not daily) UKPC Sats are now in the lobby.

Is the ME a re-entry? If so can you re-enter on the same day or is it one of the following days?

Also same question for the 8-max side event.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

It's a single re-entry per opening day but you can, if you so desire, re-enter the same day

Shame about the Omaha tournment being dropped - I would have made a decent effort to try and qualify for that. Won't bother for 8/9 max Hold'em.

    Hi Barny,

I agree - obviously! - & it so nearly did have an Omaha jobbie, it was in the provisional schedule, but there was just not quite enough room & time to squeeze it in, more especially as it is always a struggle to get numbers for PLO Events. Shame really.

I'm utterly convinced that eventually, one day, probably long after I'm gone, Omaha & it's variants will be the game of choice, it has so many subtleties & nuances, & is a real thinking game, full of surprises.

Would have been great to see you there, too.

Have to say, we spent absolutely ages trying to balance the schedule, there must have been 50 different draft schedules. It's quite a thing to get these Festival schedules "just so".
