In Response to Re: Sky Poker UKPC 2015 : Yes that's correct if you know you are gonig to be in from the start, then shop is the best way if you think you might be late, or want to late reg missing early levels, then buy in in person..downside being (possibly) queues, alternate lists etc Posted by SPT
Thanks!
I'm guessing the Saturday lunchtime flight on the 21st will be very popular, so will stump up in advance for it. Just have to make sure I'm not too hungover from the Friday to get there on time

I think you have just misread the tournament description. Skypoker has not done any satellites to any of the side events, only the £1m main event.
EDIT: I can see where you made the mistake. I'm guessing the tournament you entered was the "UKPC Micro Sat" This simply means it is a satellite into the UKPC and this is the micro limit stage. Always read the tournament description it tells you exactly what you're qualifying into. Note, the tournament is called MICRO sat, not mini, so you were only presuming this was for the mini, not really Skypoker's fault on this occasion

Hi Tanya,
Sorry to hear that.
As "Flash Flush" says, Sky Poker have never run satellites for the Mini. It finishes on Sunday, too, so a Sunday Night satellite would be too late.
Hope you win a seat on Sunday, then cop the lot in the Main, that'd be a right result.
I've qualified for the UKPC but have yet to hear about what happens now and how I register on the day or if I need to bring anything with me. Will someone be in touch or do I just turn up at DTD? I expected an automated email last night or something this morning. Cheers. Posted by Ranners
turn up at DTD on Friday
if you haven't been before you will need photo proof of ID to register with the venue
your name will be on the seat draw on the screens about 20 minutes before the start

the link to buy in via the DTD shop is at http://www.dtdshop.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=17
this will save you queues on the day if buying in in person in cash
