This is NOT a sky poker run freeroll. If it were then it would have received a massive amount of advertising because of the size of it.
So this is an independant freeroll which is using the sky poker platform to play.
The full terms and conditions for entry into this will be with whoever is running it.
With this in mind they will probably have a list of eligible names with them. And if you did not know about it before seeing it in the lobby then you are not eligible to enter it
I recieved an email saying how many points to get? Every so often they'd update me with a tally on how many more points etc? I done all this and not eligible.. Can someone at Sky look into this

If Sky decide to aim this at players who haven't played on the site for a while who are we to argue? They give out £100,000's a year in promotions aimed at a wide range of players. Posted by Snuffer
You cant just do promotion for lapsed players out in the public domain.
These guys have £0 value, im worth thousands to sky annually, if sky are running a £10k freeroll i think we're allowed to know why, or who its for...
It says for players who earnt 100 points in the past month..its clearly not.
This is just a slightly different spin on the 'how-do-I-get-into-this-freeroll?' line, surely? ...and we all know what we do to those posters Posted by Slipwater
Errr..no.
This is slightly different to your standard freeroll, its mis-marketed and theres no explaination behind it.
All im asking is for sky to explain what the freeroll is for and who its targetted at?

To be fair, if you're playing / paying Sky thousands irrespective of bonus freerolls, then what incentive is there for Sky to put out bait to make you play?
Getting part-timers to deposit fresh funds (for a freeroll) sounds like a sound marketing ploy.
Plus it can only make the tables more fun to have all the recs flooding back to earn their 100pts
In Response to Re: Club 100 Freeroll : Which brings me back to my initial point of why the hell are they running a £10,000 freeroll, targetted solely to players who are 1) INACTIVE 2) £0 VALUE 3) FREEROLL BUM HUNTERS No seriously, i want to know? When i was a VIP i got no such treatment..whats going on? Posted by alex1229
Why should sky be coming onto the forum to explain their marketing strategy? You may want to know but I don't see what right you have to know.

Couple of points on this post.
Firstly you do not know the criteria for this freeroll or its reasoning. This is pure speculation on your part and frankly illogical. You do not even know if this is a sky poker freeroll or from an outside source.
Secondly you me and everyone else has exactly zero rights to be told about the ins and outs of any business decisions made by any company.

There must be more to it than simply earning +100 points last month.

4 out of the 5 entered have played less than 300 games each on Sky
