Wow, that's great thanks Geldy! Thanks to you and my Dad, we got to the £2K mark with 20 minutes to spare! , N1 mate! On behalf of all the charities, thank you!
For clarification, is that £45 to the winner's charity only , or £45 to the prize pool, split 40%/30%/20%10% between the top four?
I wish to pledge £100 to above Posted by dofferdag9
Hi dofferdag. That's fantastic, thank you so much!
For clarification is that £100 to my charity (The Salvation Army), or is it to go into the prize pool for the charities of the winners of the TLB comp?
Congratulations to Adam Bromley (Bromley04) for getting his seat to the UKPC, and also final tabling the Super Roller. Good day's work mate. This moves him on to the leader board in 6th place. I'm sure, now back from his skiing exertions, he will be a force to be reckoned with. Good luck! Cheers, Graham Posted by StayOrGo
Thanks Graham...and a 3rd in the main on Sat too. It's just a shame I seem to have forgotten how to win a tourney these days.
Special thanks to Matt Bates too. He was very kind to express concern about my lack of volume and I'm just glad that now I am back from holiday I have been able to allay his fears...he does still play on here right?

Also, I just noticed Paul Garner (SoLack) won the £55 BH at 21:00 last night, which ties him, with Chris, for the "Tournament Wins" lead, at 14pts, and brings the total pledged up to £2,190.
Got to say what fantastic players there are competing in this thread, nothing like healthy competition to get people performing and at the moment some of the guys are untouchable, be interesting to see how this pans out over the year. Have played with a few that are named and can honestly say it's very interesting watching what lines they take. Well done for getting this going Graham, hopefully it can become a regular feature with more Sky regs putting their names up.

Thanks for the positive feedback and support Omm.
Yes there are some fantastic players that have entered this, and some of the results have been outstanding (rspca12 seems unstoppable at the moment.)
It is indeed my hope that, going forward, this will become a regular feature each year, and we would very much welcome more players to enter the affray next year. I'm glad you are enjoying watching us battle it out. :=)
I'm trying my best to close the gap on Chris (rspca12), but every time I do OK, he seems to do better :=)
All joking aside, I am so pleased that the lads (and lass) have got behind this. Like I said before, some of the best tournament players on Sky are involved, which is great! There is a lot of mutual respect between the players, as well as friendly banter.
Many of the players are also pledging some of their winnings from UKPC, should they final table.
We are however still hoping for more support with this initiative. (You don't need to be a TLB competitor to sign up, just need to be entering any of the UKPC events.)
If we could get a reasonable "spread" of players donating just 1% if they final table, it could work out fantastic for the charities, even if just one person made a final table.

Hi all.
An amazing £2,010 has now been pledged!
Updated spreadsheets, with final competitor and charity selections, is available on the Opening Post (01/02/2015)
Any further sponsorships now the charities are finalised, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again to all who have supported this.
Cheers,
Graham
Two points on the board and very happy to be donating another tenner to the charities.

Graham

Hi guys.
Not really related to this charity thread, but I just joined a SCOOP6 syndicate with some of the Sky Poker guys.
If anyone's interested, details are in "Betting Chat" section.
