    Oops.

    Apologies.

Err, I'd better send a note Upstairs.

Mr Max of the Ally appears to be correct, but I can't understand how nobody noticed that last night.

    Note sent Upstairs.

A large slice of this is on order.

there seems to be an error as only £2070 was paid out.

In Response to Re: UKOPS XIII - Free to Enter Competition, with Prizey things. : Can you double check this as the lobby says £2070!

Yep....that is what I meant. Just added the prize pool up now and it paid out £2.070....not £2,500 ?

I have checked all the others from yesterday (but not Days 1, 2 & 3) & they all paid out correctly.

You can easily check them by going to GaryQQQ's results thread (c/o Maxally at present) & clicking each Lobby Link.

    It is
    HERE

Just guessing, but I assume the rogue one was set up incorrectly.

I've sent a note Upstairs, & will Post further when they reply.

    Apologies in order, clearly.

The mystery is why no one noticed or complained before, it's a lot more than 56p.

    The Office has replied.

The additional payments will need to be manually credited, this will be done by c-o-b today, & each affected Customer will be contacted by e-mail.

....and so it rolls on ;) This isn't a fiasco though...just an anomaly I hope.

FTR, I did sort of notice it last night, but it was late, so checked again this morning after completing the results thread.

i have checked all 4 days now and, apart from this one, they all seem fine.

ps.  there is one typo on day 4 main event total but it was paid correctly and doesn't affect this competition

    Thank you Tikay.

My head hurts, and I don't like football anymore.

Guarantees yesterday (Day Three) came to £40,000, & Prize Pools came to £38,158, which is 4.6% below Guarantee. Over the whole 4 day festival, Guarantees came to £164,000, & Prize Pools came to £177,047 which is 8% above Guarantees.   So our competition winners are...... (imaginery drum roll)
    Posted by Tikay10
Added up your 4 daily totals & get £178,257.
Not that it affects me but does change the winners?

If my maths were incorrect, & it changed the Prize Winners, they will get their prizes as well as those I originally announced.

I will have a look shortly.

  • edited April 2015

I have added up the amount each Event MADE, (sometimes LESS than the Guaranteed sum) which is probably incorrect.

So my numbers may be a bit Pete Tong.

I'll sort it out shortly, but those who were already announced as winners still get their prizes, & if new Prizes are due, these will be honoured.

The Entries I sent up this morning & have not been acknowledged by the Office yet, so fingers crossed they will be sorting these in time for tonight.

It may take me an hour or so to sort this, bear with me please. Might need to dip my head in a bucket of cold water first.

We will also arrange Free Entry into tonight's Turbo Tuesday Main Event for scouse-red, for helping collate the entries.

Thank you tikay, however I do not do it for reward, just to help out the community so If you can give my seat to the next nearest that would be fine by me to
  • edited April 2015

    Try again.......

Where a Tourney FAILED to hit it's Guarantee, I had used the actual value of Entries, NOT the Guarantee. So for every event which missed it's Guarantee, the number I used was incorrect.

    My OP said....

"....You just have to guess how much the TOTAL PRIZE POOLS will amount to, of ALL UKOPS XIII MTT's....."

That is a bit ambigious, but my intention was clear - it was intended to mean Prize Pools paid out.

    So that changes everything.

The original prize winners get to keep their prizes, & we will have three new winners now, too, so it's not all bad. Except for me, as I'll be in the jolly old doghouse. Not for the first time, & hopefully, not quite ther last....

    Apologies to all.

I now get these revised daily totals.......

    Day 1 = £49,895

    Day 2 = £37,395

    Day 3 = £55,440

    Day 4 = £41,320

TOTAL (Paid out) Prize Pools = £184,050

    Probably. Maybe.

So we now have 3 new (& additional) winners......

    23zadoc
    £183.353
    24phantom66
    £183.649
    25repton3
    £184.184
So Repton gets First Prize. (Thursday £33 BH Main)

    phantom66 2nd prize (£11 Main on Tuesday)

zadoc 3rd Prize (£5.50 Mini on Tuesday).

I am not going to arrange the 2nd & 3rd for tonight, to give everyone time to check my numbers, don't think it would be a good idea to have to give THREE sets of prizes......

If no objections are raised by tomorrow, I'll sort the 2nd & 3rd for NEXT Tuesday. The winner will still play the Main on Thursday.

    Is that all clear? Ish?

    My apologies.

    EDIT - Strewth alike.

STEWARDS INQUIRY, OBJECTION. IGNORE THIS POST

    OBJECTION.

It clearly states in the rules that no number 5's or 6's are allowed in the calculation of the final totals. Therefore, I think you should recalculate them all again.

Hang on.....I read the rules wrong. Objection withdrawn....go and enjoy your Latte and well earned nap ;)
  • edited April 2015

it didn't matter before as the total you used was correct despite this typo.  but it matters now that you are adding things up in a different way.

I don't even know what the closest was yet!

His prize was not part of the pre-announced prizes, it was an ex-gratia bonus, though, so I won't be awarding it for anything else, but I'll arrange free DTD Entry to Scouse next Monday, instead.

    Gotcha, I think.

    I'll re-calculate - again - later this afternoon.

    Thanks for your help.

If you want to tell me weho should have won, I'd be most grateful. ;)

The three prizes I mentioned 3 posts ago are now wrong.

    Can this get any worse?
