I initially said I wasn't going to join in this year, only because I dont think I will be playing anywhere near as much as last year, due to playing a lot more live tournaments, going to vegas for 6 weeks in the summer, and having to do my Masters degree dissertation and other work.
Although I have decided that if you will allow me, I would like to sign up again for 2016, as today I made my donation for the 2015 comp, and I realised that even if I don't come close to winning any of the leaderboards, it will be nice for someone else to help their chosen charity at the end of the year.

Hi!
This is a great mind set Gareth, TY!
Of course we welcome you back with open arms mate!
Will your charity be MS Research/Society again?
All the best live and online for 2016!
Aussie, could you please re-add Gareth (GSmith13) to this year's competitor list.
Just a reminder to others, (competitors old and new), there are now just two days left to register as a competitor.

The opening post is now up to date with the complete competitor entries.

Would like to contribute £30 to the prize pool - great initiative and thanks to Graham for organising this. How/when do I send this over? Good luck to everyone who enters.
Stick me down for another £50 this year please Graham. For ease, split it 20, 10. 10, 10 for the top 4. Hope this raises as much as last year did. Good luck with it all and cheers for organising/running it again. Alan Posted by MAXALLY
That's great, thanks for supporting this again Alan!
Is it Ok to add this to the prize pool pot? Which is almost what you are doing.
It would work out as £20,£15,£10,£5 for the top four charities. That way it doesn't need to be separated from the prize pool and "broken out".
However, having said the above, it is your donation, and you have the right to split it as you wish.

Very kind of you radiofed.
I won't be collecting any money until Dec2016/Jan2017 and I will provide bank details etc on this thread nearer the time.

Yes Graham, thats fine. Just add it to the prize pool pot.
My Aunt and Uncle, Lorraine Humphries and Dennis Smith are each sponsoring us £20.
This will go into the TLB prize pool for the charities of the top 4 competitors of the TLB comp.
Many thanks to them.
Which leads me on to say:
Competitors, if you do have family and/or friends that are prepared to sponsor us, please post their pledge on this thread. They can either sponsor your own charity specifically, or it can go into the TLB prize pool, as my Aunt and Uncle have done.
Thank you for getting back to me the other day just remembered now, i would like to contribute £25 to wacko90's chosen charity and another £25 for the prize pool so £50 in total.

Thanks to Anna's pledge, we have now reached £1,400 for 2016!
This is split £1,110 in competitor pledges and £290 in sponsorship.
The opening post has been updated accordingly.
If you have already, or intend, to sponsor us, please remember that you will be more than welcome to participate in the TLB2016 "Sponsors and Competitors" Heads Up Cup later in the year.
The winner will receive a fully engraved "Silver" Cup.

In Response to Re: ***2016*** TLB Charity Competiton. Same deal as 2015, Get involved as a SPONSOR or COMPETITOR : Great stuff Donald. I have updated the spreadsheets on the opening post and you are nicely on top of both leader boards. Good luck for the rest of 2016! Cheers, Graham Posted by StayOrGo
Hi Donald, is possible for you to Private Msg me your email address. I forgot to ask you earlier.
SoLack's charity is now decided. It will be "ST MICHAEL'S HOSPICE"
I have updated the opening post with the latest details/standings accordingly.
A msg for potential sponsors: It would be great if you could Sponsor us for 2016.
We set our selves a massive target from last year with £4,188 being collected in 2015.
This time last year we had over £1,200 of additional sponsorship (not including Competitor pledges.)
This year it is at £290. So we are quite a way short of last years totals, which is why we need your support more than ever this year. As it would be amazing if we could beat last year's total.
Thanks again to all those who did sponsor us last year, and also a huge thank you, to those who have already made pledges for 2016.
Our donations in 2015 helped so many great charities
It really made a difference, making the world a little bit of a better place, for those less fortunate than ourselves.
If you can find it within yourself to support us again this year, it would be much appreciated.
