Ty ty Alan. I'm not gonna lie to you. I did take a little more than my usual immediate top-up at the start of the game and the add on. In fact I reckon I probably spent about £50 in total this time around on the main and mini. Luckily my cash in the mini clawed a decent amount of that back.

Don't normally go that crazy, but I just like to be in the game at the add-on stage come what may. Usually it is for for one rebuy and then the one add-on though. Honest!

Just realised I made a couple of minor miscalculations at the beginning of the year on this thread, basing my objectives on where I was at the time of writing, rather than where I was on January 1st, which is what what was needed for a calendar year challenge.

So due to this and last night's result and as it's only February and you've got to aim high, I've revised my target for the year. (See OP).

Basically though I'm now looking to post a 2016 profit of £1380 (roughly double what I did last year) which would give me a lifetime profit of £1000 by December 31st 2016.

That's two big heads-up I've lost now in a week. Clearly this is an area I need to do some work on. Other than that- all looking good at the moment.

£605 profit for 2016 and overall lifetime profit of £225.

£775 to go for the year's target.

Of course, although I'd like to talk about how much skill I brought to the game tonight, I must confess it does help rather when you become an enormous chip leader three quarters the way through the tournament because another mammoth stack with pocket 9s calls your pre-flop raise.

And you're holding AJ hearts.

And the flop comes...

K Q 10.

All hearts.

It also helps when the other chip monster hits a set on the turn and a full house on the river. #GG #UL #RIP.

I've never had a royal flush before, let alone flopped it straight out the traps.

See? Total skill... ;-)

Yes, on a proper roll right now. Three major second place finishes in 3 back-to back sessions all inside a week.

Yes, clearly I suck at heads-up! Lol. 

Well done to Macapapa, who as I write is incredibly gunning for the £5K jackpot. Won the main against me HU and is still hanging on 3rd/3 in the mini right now. Incredible stuff.

2nd/248 for me ain't bad though. Made a profit on the night of £697.50.

Just loving poker right now.
