Thanks for all the good wishes in the main. Just wasn't to me. Maybe I'll lose a big one and win a little one. Posted by NChanning
Sorry to hear of your exit from the Main, having someone to follow from thousands of miles away makes it more interesting
WSOP are now showing 1031 left so 20 off the money, last year's champ Joe McKeehan was one of the most recent casualties. Adam Reynolds, Tom Middleton, Max Silver, Pratik Ghatge & Liv Boeree all seem to have large stacks at the moment but the chip leader could well be Belgian Kenny Hallaert ahead of recent bracelet winner Shaun Deeb.
RE: Mr Drunk evictee. No sympathy from me either. Just wondering what happens to his chips in these cicrumstances? Do they stay on the table to be blinded out or are they removed? GL to all left in. Posted by Phantom66
I think his chips were removed from the table.
Not sure that is correct, but if Jack said it is, then it is.
On balance, it does not make a great deal of difference really.
Moments later, another player was moved to the vacant seat, & he had had 65,000.
Tables are breaking every few minutes, & the area where most of our players were is breaking first, so I've lost track of almost all our players. The (ex) tables of Neil, Timmy, & several others are now empty.
I'll set up a search party shortly, but I dare not venture into the corridor right now, as the Main is on Break, & the corridor is heaving.
A hail of profanities & ill-considered insults marks the exit of Phil Hellmuth, as his Kings are busted by A-K suited, & Mr H departs the scene in high dudgeon.

Don't suppose Jack will be banning him though?
Really think it is so harmful to the image of the game and yet it gets air time and more exposure every time. In what other professional occupation can you hurl profanities at people and not get punished?
Day 1 finished. Waiting to bag up chips. That's a new experience for me! Take 78k into Day 2. Melty still in, not sure about the others yet. Posted by mattprawn
In Response to Re: Love Update - Main, Day 3, Droplet Day 1C : Yikes, how did we miss each other? Sadly, the Big O Cash Games at The Rio are no longer running it seems. Think the Cash Game section will probably close tomorrow or Sunday. Boooo. Posted by Tikay10
I wondered why I couldn't find the Big O games at the Rio...
Played some Big O at the Venetian although the waiting list was so long I only got an hours play.

Approx chip counts going into day 2 (last 15 mins of 500/1000 - 100) are Channing - 60k Mattprawn - 80k Timmyrara - 23k me - 21k approx 800 going into day 2 with 650 paid, so still a bit to go before the bubble play resumes in 8.5 hrs - time for some sleep! Posted by chicknMelt

1,015 left in the Main.
The play is unbelievably slow, as the shorties tank every hand.
Once the bubble bursts, the play - & bustouts - will speed up.

BANANA ALERT
Alvez is busto.
Raised with A-K, picked up 2 callers, & they saw a flop of A-K-3.
One of the villains had the old 3-3, tough for Alvez to get away from that.
MAIN
A huge cheer & round of applause from the Amazon Room signifies the bubble has burst in the Main.
I predict that within 20 minutes, there will be a huge queue at the payout room, as players will gamble their short stacks now.
DROPLET
The payouts are up, though we still don't know officially how many runners there were in Flight C today.
654 will be paid, so by working backwards (15% of the field paid) we can reasonably assume the field size was 4,360 approx. I think.
Min cash = $1,501.
Day 1A had 119 survivors
Day 1B had 241 survivors.
What does this tell us as to whether the 1A & 1B players are in, or close to the money yet?
I've no idea, it's late & I'm tired.
I fancy the 1A & 1B players are in the money though, or as near as makes no difference.
MAIN
Within 12 minutes of the bubble bursting, they are down to 965, so 45 players departed in that time.
Make that 935.
The queue for $15,000 is forming already.
Best of Luck

The heart is willing, but the flesh is weak
As the clock passes 1am, that's it from me for tonight, the desire for food & the need for sleep is overwhelming.
Back in the morning, full of zest & zing & other zzzy things, but for now, good night all.
