Our game was first to finish. 1-0 to the north, then 2-1 to the south-all in games that could have gone either way. Feel that I deservedly won the 4th, and likewise the North deservedly won in the 5th, for a (slightly fortuitous) 3-2 win for the South.
StayorGo your really great are running all these competitions. This one sounds very interesting. The forum and Sky are lucky to have people like you. Keep up the good work. Ger Posted by gerardirl
Many thanks for your kind comments Ger. You'll have to join us in the next one. :=)

In this format, BOTH players from the NORTH in EACH Match, play BOTH players from the SOUTH in EACH match, as detailed in the opening post spreadsheet.
Please note, you ONLY play THREE games against EACH player. So in each match there are a total of TWELVE games up for grabs. As always 6-6 would represent a HALF, but SEVEN points is the magic number to put some BLUE OR RED on the board.
This format works really well, but it's not compulsory, if the four players involved in each match can schedule the same time slot. They can then, play one opponent and then switch when each have played three games.
As always, any questions re the format, let me know.
So Rose, Ice_Tiger and MattP, I really struggle to play at peak times, and I know Rose is only 8.30pm plus in the week, so how about Saturday or Sunday at 4pm?
Failing that, I can do later evenings mid-week (I'm guessing 11.30-midnight-ish), although I may have to cancel if I've gone deep in a big MTT.
Actually, just had a thought. There is one exception this week.
One time when I know I'm definitely free and won't have too much going on, is:
TOMMOROW (MONDAY) NIGHT AT 10.15PM,
MATTPRAWN, IRISHROSE, ICE_TIGER, can you make 10.15pm tomorrow? (Monday)
In Response to Re: Poker "RYDER CUP" Results, Pairings and Fixture arranging thread. FOURBALL PAIRINGS NOW ANNOUNCED: ROSE, ICE_TIGER, MATTP CAN YOU PLAY TONIGHT (MON) AT 10:15PM? : I should be able to do 10:15 tonight if that helps ??? Gary - Monkey Posted by MonkeyGLB
Hi Gary
Let's pencil in Tuesday about 8.30pm. Should be out of the main by then!
I'm out tonight, but if I get back in decent time I will log in and if you happen to be free we can set a game up, although I promised the same to Graham.
As mentioned last night, I will try and find you when I get in tonight. Over at a football match in Manchester, so I suspect it might prove too late, but if you're still around I'll find you.

Hi Matt.
As discussed, I'm out tonight myself, but should be back by 10.15pm, 10.20pm. I can play anytime after that if you don't mind a late one. Hopefully ICE_TIGER and/or Rose will be available at 10.15pm, so we should get some, if not all of Match 6 played.
Can someone who knows ICE_TIGER give him a nudge about possibly playing Monday Night at 10.15pm? I can't PM him for some reason. Cheers, G Posted by StayOrGo
Playing DTD tonight so probably cannot play unless things go badly for me.
