Hi Rose, I've just got home, Ice is at DTD, but MattPrawn should be on later. I suggest you play MattPrawn first tonight, then I will play him. Assuming that is OK with him.

Well we managed to get one of the four legs of Match 6 played tonight.

Namely myself v MattPrawn, and I am happy to say it was a 3-0 victory for the South.

I got the run of the cards, and as always, Matt was a gentleman in defeaf (He's so polite, I'm sure he must have some Southern influence from somehwere.) :=)

There was one great hand when Matt was short stacked that went as follows.

AIN PRE:

STAYORGO: 66

MATTPRAWN: 55

FLOP: Q,T,FIVE

TURN: SIX!

RIVER FIVE!

So Matt survived there, but unfortunately for the North it wasn't enough for him to win the game.

So over to my counterpart, Rose now. GL Rose.!

Rose and I also need to play ice_tiger again (repeat of my foursome's pairing)

Let me know when is good ice, for you to play both/either Rose and myself.

Will Groggy appear before Punta Cana, or will the North need to field a reserve?

Captain Donna may have to pull some strings to help get that match up and running before the North's star performer jets off. I would ask that FeelGroggy's opponents from the South (namely MANIA1129 and MONKEYGLB), please try to accomodate match requests in the coming days.

If both captains can assist in getting the above match played, it would be much appreciated.

Also MAXALLY, ESSEXPHIL, AJMILTON, JORDZ16, please start posting to arrange your games accordingly too.

We had a few problems today, with Heads Up matches being "hi-jacked."

To help combat this, and avoid the hassle of it, may I suggest the following:

1) A few minutes before your game starts, post on here agreeing who will register and who will join.

2) Select an "exact time" according to SkyPoker server of when the player will register.

3) Use "find a player", if working, there have been some issues with this.

4) Whoever is joining have your SNG filter open and set to HOLD'EM, HEADS UP and ordered by BUYIN, lowest up top.

5) Whoever is joining, be on the ball and ready to join the £1.05 SPEED SNG, as soon as your opponent registers.

Hopefully, following this procedure will reduce the number of times this problem occurs.

I know you have put a lot of work into this Graham but maybe a few tweaks for next time. IE....pick a w/end or week for ALL games to be played. With only 6 players, it could of been done in 4 days (like a real Ryder cup) rather than 40. .

I agree on needing a sub/reserve for Groggy if he doesnt get all his games in before departure. I nominate our captain DA to step in if that is the case.

Well played Graham in the HU last night.  I was comprehensively outplayed, and despite the Quad 5's hand I failed to manage even a lucky point.
