I'm already at a disadvantage with my overall poker ability, but now I've got to play one more game than Tikay and 7 games more than Neil Channing in order to get to the same final as him? Seems fair... ;-) i'm in- RED KING I'm calling you out sir! Where are ya? Let's be 'avin' ya! And more to the point, when are you available to play over the next week or so? Wednesdays are good for me...

If not tomorrow evening then it will have to be Monday onwards, Tsarina. I have hot dates in Hull and even hotter dates in the Algarve to attend to this weekend

Hi honey, as you know, I am always anxious to oblige and fit you in as best I can.  I could play this evening ie Wednesday 16th, and any evening after Friday.  Alternatively I have no violent objection to playing with you in the Algarve this weekend -shall I send you my passport details by private message so you can sort out flights and an hotel?

The_Reflex found an angle to defeat MISTY4ME 2-1.

It was hard cheese for pompeynic, losing a plopper derby to mr weecheez 2-0

*Poker_Wolf is howling about his 2-1 defeat of benc

*RicOrford stays in the running for top presenter/analyst drawing level with Tikay in Round1 by beating Red_King 2-0

Boxster had a Por sche-owing in this round losing to lundie 2-0

Spinky managed to crack the_eggs 2-0

Hi Rich, most nights 9pm+, can't make Mon or Weds but free before then. If earlier is better for you Sat/Sun early evenings should be fine also.

Well its Hello (and goodbye I am afraid) Dollie who lost 2-0 to Gregster.

It's good to see so many matches played already and to be fair to those being active, so they do not have wait too long, I am setting my first deadline of the comp.

All PRELIMINARY ROUND matches are to be finished by 23:59:59 Sunday 27 November.

As ever I will make allowances for those trying to play or where there are good reasons.

I'll set a 1st round deadline once that is complete and I see how many round 1 matches are left and how actively fixtures are being arranged.
