You is Brill Tikay. We really really really appreciate your coverage of the whole of the event.
He had 3-3 in the BB. He intended to call a 1,225 Raise, but mistakenly shipped a 5k chip in with the smaller denoms, so it went as a Raise. The Rsiser folded, but the SB set Thewy all-in!
The SB KNEW it was a mistake, & Thewy KNEW that the SB knew it was a mistake. Tricky spot. (Nobody has behaved improperly here, by the bye).
Thewy decided to make the call - SB had 9-9!
And it was tough to come back after the Flop came 9-8-8!
He never used it as an excuse, but I seem to recall Thewy has problems with colour-blindness. No excuse, but it may have contributed to the error. Next case.

Both Guy & Tony are really looking forward to today.
We did some "where are we?" sums.
7,300 players started, 5,100 or so survived Day One.
If the attrition rate remains similar, around 3,500 will survive Day Two. (As near as makes no difference).
So that means, the Average Stack at the END of Day Two, moving into Day Three, will be twice the starting stack, so, 60,000. Or somewhere near that.
The "to-follow" List so far is.......
Guy Collins - Table 271.
Tony Stroud - Table 37
David Capon (sparcey) - Table 34
Julian Thew - Table 339
Any more for any more?
Focus, concentrate, keep the faith and do the business!
Rooting for you both!
Good Luck!
Chris
PS Great stuff from you and Claire too, Tikay! Lovin' it, keep up all the good work!

We have ACTION!
Guy Collins finds J-J, & pops it up, gets a caller. He C-Bets the 8 high flop, called again, rinse repeat on the Ten Turn.
Pot is a bit big now, & a straight is showing, so it goes check check on the end.
Guy ships it, & is up to 45k.
Later, he does a Button-Steal, & his image does the job. GREAT start Guy!
Tony & Thewy both start quietly, & no significant action yet.
Sparcey has a nice start, though, when a shortie shoves on his BB, & Sparcey finds A-K.
Mr Shover had he dominated K-T, & Sparcey moves up to nearly 70,000.
The Photo Blog will start shortly, pics of the featured four, + Devilfish's knuckledusters will be included. Give me a little time to process, please.
And in between all that, we just interviewed Mike Sexton, which is currently being Attila-ised.
Has to be worth following, currently on 65k
The Jesse May, Guy Collins, & Tony Stroud Interviews, are ALL up.
The Mike Sexton Interview will be up imminently.
The players have had the first break, after Level 5 was completed.
Tony Stroud (Penguin7) is now up to 47,000.
Level 6 has commenced. Blinds are 250/500/50.
Level 7, still nearly 2 hours away, will be 300/600//75.
Thanks for the "names" guys. I'll try & follow as many as I can, but I first need to do today's "Photo Blog" starter.
Keep up the great work m8 - your doing a brilliant job m8!!
You should be knighted xxxx
The first instalment of today's Photo Blog is now up. See http://bit.ly/cZ21ZX
Thewy is OUT in a strange coup.

Nice start on the photos.
