    to be fair he never said he can't beat them, or that he wasn't just taking their blinds. His point was that it takes a while with them only losing 1.5 big blinds every orbit, if they had big stacks it could stretch your game out for longer than it should. Which could be a problem if you aren't into sitting on your computer clicking. this idea would be a solution to that as they would be losing 6 big blinds every orbit. Also, i do think more people should call others dip-stick more often.

    I joined sky poker a few days ago, was given 2 quid to start playing, i was greatful! Played 3..... 30p double ups ...lost all 3...lol Then decided to have a go in a mini bounty hunter, again only 30p I knocked out 3 players ..."blimey" .....BUT ...when there were 6 players left at 1st 4 suddenly sat-out !! then a little later ...1 rejoined! I eventually came 2nd, but the match took ages for these players to get blinded out! My point is ....why sit-out at that point! SOLUTION.. 1 site is dealing with the sit-out problem in this way! EVERY PLAYER IS ALLOWED 6 MINS SIT-OUT TIME...THEN FROM THEN ON IF THEY STILL SIT-OUT THEY ARE HIT WITH BIG BLIND EVERY HAND! Funny how suddenly sitting out was virtually stopped dead in its tracks over night on that site! I call sit-outs "POKER PARASITES!" They are a real pain in the neck! I was delighted, so got intouch with support, and they said! "we feel that 6 mins is enough time to answer the phone, answer the door, do a poo, ect" Any thoughts folks?

     Now you are just being silly! If someone wants to play in a deepstack at say 7.15 but doesnt get to their computer until 7.45 what is the problem? Top Poker stars arrive late for tournys it is their right. I am not saying to hold play up for anyone! Just play by the rules that others have played by since Poker was invented! If it aint broke dont try to fix it!

    Hmmm... i was rocked by the storm that suddenly hit me.....but i still think the site that employed this system are right, dint half save time mate ....games were done and dusted in half the time......boring waiting for sit out to be blinded out! Christ its not that damm serious ....it was just a thought provoking point ....or no replies would have appeared!

    Some site call "chat banning" .... Corking...or cork him! Thats stuffing a cork in someones mouth! As for the cost....they are free....To those who run to teacher...and complain! My point is...this is a poker site, like other sites! and not "play school" ...Ive been called just about everything on poker sites...and never once have i complained...and got a player "CORKED"...i like to think i can deal with abuse in my own way ...not run to support crying!      i myself cant see what the prob is with sitouts just nick the blinds and there gone in 40 min easy then got on with game ...... i know its gets a bit repet clicking mouse but just the way it is  anyway gl at the tables all

    Why get upset about sit outs? if you can't beat someone not playing then there really is a problem !

    Would you get so wound up they were sat in but still folded every hand? Just play your game and let others use whatever strategy they decide provided it's within the rules. Folding (as far as i'm aware) has not been ruled as unfair as yet?

    Chin up and enjoy the 2nd place rather than complain about those you beat anyway

    can we have a guide to sit outs in red at the top of the page??

    seing as this question gets asked weekly about sitouts ;)

    ps. if yoy cant beat sitouts id suggest another game............................
