ok you guys are alot better than me but im always hearing if you shove like that you will only get called by a hand thats beating you so i would check back.

this is what the experts say on 865 so before you shoot me down can you tell me why thats bad???

im still learning the game but im getting conficting advice here!!


edit. the reason i ask is ive been shoving like you did yb over the last day or so after the above advice and ive lost so many pots playing like it. where if id checked i could of lost the minimum.

maybe you will say dont be results driven but it sucks.

i dont want a row either im after genuine advice here........................

they need to be able to call whilst holding a hand worse than yours. that's the key.

if they have nothing or the nuts there is no point betting with a marginal hand.

that depends on what sort of hand range your opponents turn up with when they take this betting pattern.

I don't fault a check behind because it's hard to get paid unless he has Ax, 99, KQ that will pay us. But similarly people are often very passive so with a set I wouldn't fault a bet.

the one thing i know is he liked chasing flushs/draws maybe thats the reason for the check!!

there are 1225 combinations of hands he can have preflop. that isn't all that many. try playing omahahaahahahaha

just let the board roll out and seeing those cards lets you remove 20% of hands automatically. :-0 

practice and guess work are what it's all about
