My 100% record is over. If anyone kept theirs let me know. Mine was broke about 15 mins in when i lost a flip i dont think i should have taken. Anyways still another £8.50 to the kitty. Posted by The_Don90
Good effort though Don- you are surely one of the leaders and in sight of the podium prizes.

Yea i was really hoping to get on the final table to have a go with one of the most respected players on the site, i felt like i have been in control of my table before i busted, i made 1 bad desision and it cost me i recovered a little but then went out A10 v AQ no grumbles.
Although im only at £12 i think ive set myself good for a couple of more deep runs and i can compete at one of the prizes. Although again no grumbles if i dont.

Well done everyone who played in this, especially to those who Cashed, which I note, excludes Orford. Again.
I had 4 Tourneys to play, & thought playing MultiBalls, adding 3 more, would be a tad much for me to cope with.
Big respect, though to Orford, if not for his poker, which is tez, but for setting up this weekly jobbie, & to Mere for his spreadsheets, which were, as usual, promptly produced & immaculate.
We should not forget the jobs that guys like Mere (spreadsheets etc), Hawky (Updaters), and Solly, Barry, Nutter, Barry, & many others do to promote various Tourneys.
Don't you think the League table should be a points scoring system rather than how much you have cashed??
I think this would be fairer to the ones playing week in and week out over the month that its being played and who are more consistant playing the multi table format over that time. For instance if you cash in one game where there are lots more players playing you may not have to play again to win or finish in the top 3 as it stands now!
If there was a points system the same for each tourn then everyone that plays is on a level playing field over the weeks the multis are increased??
That's one for Mr Orford to answer, really, but I'm sure he's pretty busy this morning, (sleeping, knowing him....) so I'll field it in the first instance, & he can add his "official" line later.
You may, or may not, have a point there, & your view will be considered when they run further such fun Comps. (Another "League" type one will start very shortly, run by a different PTP-er).
But once they start, the Rules must NOT be changed, as that would be unfair on those who signed up based on the original Rules.
Thanks for reply and passing onto "sleeping not so beauty" for me..ha
Oh yeah i totally understand you cannot change the rules once started its just a thought maybe on future Comps to give more of a level playing field for consistancy rather than maybe come in and win one Tourn and be up there for the prizes.

Good post Diggsy. With the points system as it now stands there is a possibility that some players will opt out of future Multi Balls as they may feel that they have little chance of finishing in the top 3. An alternative points system could be considered as you say with points given to all players, lets say 50 points per position, i.e. in a tournament with 50 runners 50th place would get 50 points and winner would get 50 times 50 =2500 points. In addition bonus points could be allocated to the top 6 in each tourny , the final table. The bonus points could be , say, 1500 1st, 1000 2nd,750 3rd, 500 4th, 300 5th, 150 6th.
The main advantage of the bonus system is that a player who is lowly placed can jump up the leaderboard by winning 1 event thereby retaining interest and ensuring that the numbers of runners stays at a higher level, which is of course the whole purpose of running the league.

lol i was didnt cash in any 3.. but didnt have great start as i had to miss first half hour as couldnt get comp working.. did my best.. and hey im still in for next week then it sure will be a winner cuz ill make sure comp is working lol..
As a Sub-Franchiese for a local poker league i know exactly how points based systems work too and it does make a differance. Although MickJenn would still be a massive leader.
If you say you based it for say 200 points per person and 50 points for everyone who fails to cash and then the rest is dived between those who cash. although say an event like this cashing in more than one that week should have a "bonus" points system?
What do people think of that, i know it cant be changed for this event but could easily be used for future system.

Anyways still another £8.50 to the kitty.
Unbelievable- looks like we have an outright leaderboard leader at the end of Week 2.
Well done Mick- full confirmation tomorrow when the table is released on this thread
was leading asw ell
Well done Mr MC, halfdraper and Mick Jenn-( who is our outright leader now at the end of Week 2 with two wins under his belt out of 5 tourneys.)
There's still 15 games to play yet though so literally anyoone can win the SPT seat still, including people who haven't entered the league yet.
I'll stick the table on this thread tomorrow when I get it.
Great night of Multiballing- thanks to everyone who played well done to everyone who cashed and ty to Dave for the updates!
