Hi! I am also getting CODE NOT RECOGNIZED when I try to enter the promo code for SPT Glasgow ... Can you help? Thanks
Hi Tikay, The Sky Pokerzine has a promo for SPT Glasgow on P12, following the instructions results in an error message, CODE NOT RECOGNISED for either promo code entry box. Is this working properly? Posted by Red_King

i'm going to chase this up with the relevant department for you.

Ok, I have given up where is the SPT schedule posted, hellloooo is it here somewhere?? By schedule I mean dates-venue-time as I fancy being a spectator.
Hi red king and baltimore, I've checked our records and it shows that you have both correctly entered the code so you have been entered into the draw. I'm not too sure why that error code came up, I'll investigate this furthur. Good luck in the prize draw. Posted by Sky_Jack
Hi folks Can you help me settle a dispute i had playing in a home game last night. I called the big blind with 2 2 he checks. The flop is 4 j 10 i 3 bet to see where i stand. He calls. Turn card is 8 and i check, he checks. river is a k i check he checks. i show my pair of twos he said well done and mucks his cards . Does he have to show me his cards or only if i ask. It seems only fair that he shows as i iam not getting any information on him. Thanks Gary Posted by HUE-JARDON
Hi there mate you are right in the fact that if you ask to see his cards he has to show as it was a showdown situation he can much as he did but if requested he has to show his cards. I hope this helps you.

I don't think so. It isn't a showdown as neither player is all in. Only the first to act has to show his cards (or muck them forfeiting the pot), the second player can legitimately muck his cards forfeiting the chips to you. That's the advantage of position.
Can you let my know the details for anyone wishing to come down on saturday to just watch the event? i.e. Will I need to pre register at the casino or just turn up at the door with some ID? Can anyone play in the sit n gos or do you have to be a player from the main tourney?

This is the closest, and good value, and where Sky are booking for their people http://www.etaphotel.com/gb/hotel-3503-etap-hotel-etap-hotel-glasgow/location.shtml
All sold out, sorry
How old do you have to be to qualify for glasgow? and if i wanted to play a few sng's after what would be the buy in for them?
typically £10-£20
I have only just found out about the SPT but would like a go at qualifying through one of the £2.60 satelittes through to the semi final.
Only trouble is I can't seem to find any £2.60 satelittes on the lobby?
What time and how often daily are these smaller buy in satelittes running?

Yes to beer - a good tip is to get there as early as you can and down as many pints before the start - you'll play beautifully after that.
