TPT PRIVATE GAME 5th December
Game is now in lobby and open for registration. You may invite 1 guest of your choice. Owing to the fact that you can't address a pm to more than 50 recipients I had to miss a few off but I missed off the regs so you don't really need the pm. Password is the same.

TPT XMAS SPECIAL
Following a suggestion by chubbers for a variation on the usual BH or deepie I've been exchanging ideas with Dave Bland about something special for Xmas and want your views on this idea. Timed tourneys have been suggested so this is what I have in mind. 2 timed tourneys on the same night 60 mins with £3-30 buy in and 30 mins with £2-20 buy in. Still pw protected but you don't need to invite guests i'll open it up to any team member can play and I'll post details on DTD Facebook page. Call it our Xmas party lol. Or would you prefer to keep it just TPT? Dave has also said that SkySanta may be able to make an appearance with something extra! Any other ideas greatefully recieved . Thankyou Dale
Just to say as we have a game tomorrow night I think we should do this in 2 weeks on Wed 19th December.
I need more than a bloody speech after last nights fiasco lol -
Hand 1 of the evening - I limp in with 56 sooted (Pretty Standard) I flop 2 pair 5's & 6's - The chips end up all-in atfer a couple of post flop bets - I was pretty sure I was beating harding (Put him on a Pair) but I wasn't expecting imber to call holding a pair of 6's to give her the set when I was holding one of them in my hand lol

Theo raises, so I re-rase with my JJ - Theo Call, flop looks pretty safe so I make a half pot bet, theo calls again, Turn 9 - Still looks pretty safe to me - I cant put him on a straight to the Jack as i'm holding 2 of them and again I can't put him on a straight to the queen unless I think he's got the jack.
It ends up all in and low and behold, not only did he raise pre with J7, but he also calls my re-raise too - not sure I could lay it down even if I played it again - but i suppose this early in the tourney it would have been best to let them go.
But you can bet your socks & pants I will be putting this sort of think right for next week lol.

I'm definately going to look at my earlier play and just keep an eye on the average stack to make sure i try and keep above that..
Ignore the lobby till nearer the end of the mtt's.
Think my problems actually come from the DTD and the recents FLOPS, trying to just get low scores and not wins..
Will wake on board the advice and hopefully see you at the odd final table TPTers..
Two timed ones are fine by me m8. I'll give them a go, you never know might actually win some cash for a change lol..

As some of you know there is a Facebook page for DTD. There is also a page called Forum DTD Captains Committe started by David Harvey (Hitman RV) a while ago. The members consist of Team Captains (or other team reprasentatives) and Chris (Scousered) and Michael(DTWbandit). As Trevor is not on FB he asked me if I wanted to be TPT's rep for this group. Although the group is private there is nothing secretive about the group but the group does have several aims. The easiest way for me to put this across is to give you this quote from David:

It is not intended to be a group for arguing the case with regards to individual bans etc.
Some of you may be wondering why David set up this group a year ago and you are only hearing of it now. It is simply a case that the page lay fairly dormant for that long but an issue has now cropped up and David felt it was better to get all team reps on board to try and resolve the matter.
And that about sums it up. If any of you have any questions I'll be glad to answer them if I can.

Enjoyed the TPT Game last night - great fun as usual (Pity I didn't cash) but it was nice to make it to the final table. Well done to IDONK, BestBitter & Keith for cashing (Lucky Sods)
