    Hi all

    Best of luck to you all on the tables tonight.  I'm playing just a couple of games tonight as fed up of all the insults/rants at me in the chat box :(.  Had someone threaten to come "cut me and my family" last night in chat - though to be fair I think I prob wound the guy up by saying he didn't sound old enough to play poker on here.  But then tonight in the main BH £55 game I won a straight on with the river card - the guy who I beat had AK and said I deserved to die for playing my hand. 
    I fully accept I'm not a great player of poker - but I enjoy my game and play "my way" - why do some people think they can hurl insults at me if I get a lucky hand?

    Hi rose the behaviour of some people is disgusting and can't be defended.There is 2 things to do report them,and not reply when they say something.This will make their argument to customer care far less valid as they will say you antagonised them.Give customer care no choice but to choose their punishment.People can be horrible ive had it and i'd say everyone has had it.It's easy to abuse and threaten someone when your hiding behind a computer screen.These people need a reaction to continue their attack.Rise above them rose.At spt you saw the real sky poker community.There will always be a horrible person on this site as on every site.We can't let these people win rose.Do you think the guys said what they said are even bothered.They have probably forgotten what went on.Idiots who swear at us are just like those AA.We only remember when AA gets beat.Can you name all the people on hear who are nice to you.No because ther are too many to name.The positives will always outway the negatives.Keep smiling rose.Martin.jj.

    Just ignor them rose - it happens to all of us. Some players just don't know how to accept losing a hand.

    I've been called all sorts of things and nowadays I just find it quite amusing.

    Don't take any of the insults personally, just let them have their rant or report them if it's threatening.

    I agree with what's been said Rose ignore them at the table but any threats of violence SHOULD be reported to CC. Tikay has made it perfectly clear in previous posts about chat abuse that threats of violence are intolerable.

    As has been said Rose, report them. It is not on and is also one of the most unpleasant things about playing on a site when you get this kind of abuse.
    As for playing your way. (and I include myself guilty of this) we all tend to get a bit wound up when someone plays a hand differently to how we would play it ourselves or how it 'should' be played! What we tend to forget in these situations is that Holdem is your best 5 card hand from the 7 total cards, hole & board and how you play your cards before that point is generally a personal taste kind of a thing.
    we all suffer the beats and forget how many times our hands hold up. I have occasionally been guilty of berating people for bad play, which looking back on I shouldn't have done. As for threatening language that is way beyond the line of what is acceptable and what isn't.

    My personal opinion is aswell that the standard on the site is gotten much worse, like for instance you know in every table there is a massive donk who gets lucky, some of the things ive saw in the last few days has been truley unexplainable with some of the plays, even in the bigger tournaments to.

    Totally agree with this. In last Fridays Orfy and Megastack there were some truly awful plays by players calling stacks off with only a high card or calling allins with bottom pair even. Luckily I benefited from it :) Even in the Primo last night on 861 there was some pretty atrocious plays. The standard really has sunk to a new low.

    Good luck tonight boys in all your games.  Unfortunately I'm also going to be AWOL as off out to look at some Vauxhall Corsas for my son.  Wish it could have waited til weekend though lol as I really like Monday nights on here!

    I hadn't been too active as my stack wouldn't allow it. I called with the intent of shoving any flop that didn't have an A on it. His call after the flop left him with 3bb, a fold would have left him with abt 10 bb I think.

    Finished 8th in DTD1, had 8s 8d, flop came down 7d 9d 10d, 6 or j of Ds for straight flush or any 6,j for a straight, turn comes up a 10 and the river comes up a 9 and im dammed by an AQ.

    ENJOYED THE GAME BUT A BIT SICK THE WAY I WENT OUT, SHOULD I HAVE JUST RAISED OR DID I DO RIGHT TO GO ALL-IN..

    I felt it was right to go all in but cant help thinking that i was wrong......
