    Hi Trev et al, Going on self-exclude for a while. Story on the main forum but copied here in case it dissapears. Guess I will be self-excluding myself from TPT during the period as well. I don't know if my messages vanish when i self-exclude, having never done it before. Probably not but if someone wants to reply to this to keep a copy for sure that will help. Good luck at the tables. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all Unfortunately customer service would not/could not solve my registration problem for the UKPC final, and I do not intend to go into it here (and no it's not as simple as it might seem). My final choice was to deregister and lose £240 to SkyPoker, or to stay registered and have the cash bubble boy get it. So apologies to everyone who had to put up with my absence on the table last night, but the only way i could get my money to go to one of you instead of SkyPoker was to stay registered even though i couldn't play.  10 HappyHead - £440 However the whole episode has left me with a rather bitter taste in my mouth and I am going on self-exclude for a while, while i ponder my next move. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all but Tikay, who gets a well earned baa-humbug.

    Hi all gl in dtd tnite, I wont be playing as Im only going to play the main, 7pm and the 9pm due to having to many tables open from other sites, I really need to invest in a new monitor so I can play more tables. Hope all from TPT have a great christmas and a happy new year, sorry to hear that geldy hope u dont leave permenantly mate as TPT would be loosing a really good player and top guy too.

    Here is the hand in question. Without being results orientated, all advice welcome!

    My thoughts. Was not sure what to make of the donk bet. I feel that I should have just flat called rather than raise to get the chips in?? Still unsure. I'm quite happy to take the pot down there and then and there are worse hands KJ/QJ etc that would make this move. I thought it would be unlikely for a made straight to donk bet. Was very surprised to run into KK due to the lack of 3 bet pre!! If I had have flat called then there would have been every chance of me taking it down on the turn (but that is being results orientated again!)

    Is this an easy fold once he shoves? KJ/QJ/JT may shove here but I guess I'm not beating much! The more I look at it the more I hate my whole play! Should have flat called the donk bet then got it in on the turn. Thoughts?

    Great performance from TPT Last Night......

    Well done to all who made it into the top 10 & took points for TPT -

    A very BIG well done to Binrobbed for taking it down & to vice cappy Daggs for winning DTD 3.

    I limped off just outside the top 10 (14th in fact) but enjoyed the night. Had to spend the rest of the evening nursing the Mrs as she has some kind of manflu (Probably not as bad as we get it imo :)

    Think it's all fine really. With that action (or lack of it pre), we are always gonna go to town on a J high flop. On that board, I think raising is probably the best option; there are a few turn cards that can kill our action/see us outdrawn. Plenty of pair and draw combo's that will pay us off.

    Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to the villain for a concealed monster.
