    Hi

First apologies but this may come across a little sharper than intended but i don't have a lot of time and my first response was lost thanks to a remember to play the main event message that just arrived on my phone.

I cannot imagine any other team providing you more support than we have at TPT. I am sure others have been as dedicated with replying to you as i have been. Nothing in your email makes sense. Sure if there are other players you would rather join with fine but just say that.

And please don't hold TPT responsible for my views. I have a habit of being more forthright than my colleagues. Please only hold that against me not against them.

    And just to be clear.

I think you are a great teammate and have really joined in with what the team is all about.

It's been great having you as a member and i am gutted that you are wishing to leave.

But that is your perogative and i would not want to interfere with that.

Just not sure i really understand the reasons why.

so i'm playing the second HU game of my session after a 12hr shift. half way through the cards are a bit blurry and i'm stuggling to see if i have a gut shot or an actual made straight so decide i cant play anymore, FAR too tired. my opponents a nice bloke and he mentions he's regged in the 3k BH when i say that this would be my last game.

i decide to look at the lobby of the 3k BH just out of interest to see who else is in, and for some reason click 'register' instead of 'lobby'. when it asks me if i am sure i want to BI i habitually click 'yes'.

so im stuck in an mtt, i'm pants at mtts. if i do play em it's £1 or £2 jobbies.

    Alright folks.

Haven't been around much recently, have a couple of things going on away from poker which are making my playing hours unpredictable, and when I do manage to play it's pretty tough going. This is my excuse for a poor DTD performance last Monday :)

Hopefully some short term regression will lead to long term progression on the felt.

Tomorrow will hopefully be my last proper session for quite a while, will try and sign off for the time being with one of those rare winning Sundays :)

    Keep crushing le tablez all!

    quite enjoyed that.

busted getting top set in v a pair that picked up a flush on the turn, pretty standard stuff.

early stages featured some play i would consider shocking in a £2 game. picked up a head to mitigate the loss. may play one or two of these a week.

lol Teddy, you will need to win it now.

    Hey Paul

    Just seen your message buddy.

TPT will always be here if you ever want to rejoin at some point.

You are an excellent member and will be missed.

All the best with the future, poker and life. If you are on Skype send a message and i'll add you on there.

I always remember when you were railing me in the Promo, and I jammed q8 OTB 6 b4 the bubble, and you were like i'd never think to do something like that haha

I am going to disagree with Geldy to an exent. Well  the "nothing in your post makes sense bit" part in particular. At the end of the day if some one wants to leave, they don't need to explain, but you did saying it wasn't quite right for you at the moment, things were getting to big etc. So fair play, I fully understand why you feel it's the time to move on.

Wholeheartedly agree with 2nd post by geldy, pretty spot on. It's been great having you as part of the team, and keep in contact.

    Good luck!

Probably the softest MTT vs buy in on Sky's nightly schedule. Worth playing when it's gtd at 3k, can often be close to £500 up top, plus the old head prizes. A lot of the sites big hitters (MB, DD, TommyD, NooGooood) seem to play this these days, but this is offset by the hordes of 'inexperienced' players who sat/flick in.

Plus good players are easier to bluff ;)

Great start - its early days I know, but just keep goin over it in your head so eventually it comes naturally

Well done on your cashes Zoe & well done to all that were able to rail.

I've been havin a rare weekend off after suffering a bit of verbal beating in the chat. I usually play MTTs but recently had a couple of sessions on S&G and both times I have been abused.

I know we shouldn't take any notice, but it got me thinking & I felt like I was walking in the dark without a tourch, blind so to speak and by this I was not playing optimally so it had an effect on my game.

I was more dissapointed with myself by letting it effect my game to be honest rather than what had been said.

I did tell one of the player that it was against sky poker rules to quote players stats at the table and said I would log the chat & report it. He did say sorry, he was not aware and would not do it agaim and i'm all for giving people a second chance.........keyboard warriors on the other hand really p****s me right off lol.

Anyway....good luck at the tables all, see you on the green felt shotly.

I tell them at the level I play I can be down a couple of grand one day and up seven or eight grand the next. Makes them think. But sticks and stones etc. Shop the Cxxxs.

By the way. PC finnished 3rd in a 275 player freeroll to qualify for the £750 BH 2nite. Cost me one re-buy and one add on total outlay £1.00. Saved £10.00 on the buy in. So thats a result in its self.

    Trev,

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooo

You cannot let the b*stards get you down.
Remember if you don't respect their opinions there is no point getting annoyed by them.
You've proven yourself enough at the tables
    All the rest is b*llshit

    Question.
I was at the GCASINO Newcastle with some friends a couple of weeks ago. Was chip leader and hit KK in  late pos 400/800 I re-raised a raise pe flop and got re-raised again I shoved and got called. He turned over AA and won the hand. Now what im asking is . If I just called and saw the flop which was 2 d. 7 s. and j h. Then he shoved. Is there any way u could lay down KK.

    1. totally forget the value of the buyin or the prizes - treat it as any other tourney - you need to have zero emotional entanglement and just play your A game
    2. totally ignore that there may be some tough opponents
    2. structure is nice and slow, so you can take your time - particularly in the early levels
    3. watch how the other players on your table are playing - who are aggressive and who are passive - don´t waste chips tangling with the aggro ones unless you have a hand you are prepared to go to war with ie can hit big like suited connectors
    4. don´t forget the basics - ie starting hand ranges and position - much more important than worrying about who else is playing
    5. if you are being totally outplayed by someone - ie you have an aggro monkey like mattbates on your left who always calls/raises over you - just tighten up - and wait for solid hands or a table break! and if you hit feel free to raise big and put the pressure on him (although this can backfire as i found out 3-bet shoving my tptk into matt´s AA)
    6. in later stages, if you are scared you will be outplayed on the flop (ie you think you are laying down the best hand post-flop too often), feel free to make all or nothing decisions. There are many that would disagree with this advice, but i remember coming 2nd to sikas in a main event many moons ago. He was super aggro and eating the opposition alive. so i tightened up and made it clear any hand i was in i was happy to get it all in. after a couple of big showdowns peeps start to leave you alone and fight each other instead.

Don't worry mate. My own fault for putting myself in the position where I felt the need to shove with KK...

Gl in the roller. May bite the bulletin and buy myself in.
