24th september, i was finally realeased from hospital today YAY, well i havent played much on these today, 2 matches to be precise and a a small winning cash session, as i was put in hospital before updating my BR on the 21st it seems i have made a loss, the truth is, i havent made a loss today i just cant remember what i started with. Was very unlucky in the DYM, one of the players i put down to be super agressive, sometimes even all in pre flop, anyways, there was 5 people left and i was standing with K8, this person had just lost a huge chunk of there chips and on the next hand they just went all in, i looked at the all in as weak so called even with K8, it turns out to be the right move as she shows me J8 (who goes all in on J8) oh well it worked cus she hit her jack on the turn and left me with 0 chips i was on push or fold mainly because said villain had kept going all in previously and i had no hand to call it with anyways accidently did a superfast DYM, and it was kinda easy, hand 1 two people went all in, resulting in 1 person going out, then i watched some other players trying to bluff me which i let em do as i had a mediocre hand from the BB, anyways 1 of the bluffers got called, and he soon found half his stack, and the second bluffer tried bluffing against the guy who was chipleader and got himself knocked out finally lowstacker was stuck and went all in easily Starting BR £5.00 Br 1st September: £20.22 Br 16th September £21.24 Br 2nd September: £20.80 Br 17th September £26.34 Br 3rd September: £25.99 Br 18th September £22.28 Br 4th September: £27.62 Br 19th September £56.44 Br 5th September: £30.12 Br 20th September £65.30 Br 6th September: £37.02 Br 21st September £64.30??? In Response to Re: **** SEPTEMBER PROFIT CHALLENGE THREAD **** : 2 cashes out of 4 today, took down a £1.10 PLO8 and runner-up in the £3.30 PLO, so building up some steam for tomorrow's big PLO event. Today's balance: +£4.70 Mtd balance: +£75.99 Posted by Giant811
Played the big Omaha event on Friday, but couldn't repeat my result from the week before. Went out in a spot that probably should have been an easy fold. It's in the clinic, if you want to comment (hint hint).
Played a lot of tournaments today and experienced the wonderful variance of Omaha. The first bounty hunter I played I busted first hand when I hit a straight on the turn, improved to flush on the river but the river also filled the villain up. The first 3 bhs I didn't even get a single bounty, then I took down the fourth. Also had a 1st and a 2nd in the 3 £20 gtd PLO tourneys. Unfortunately I went 0-fer PLO8 and deep stacks (3 each), so not enough winnings today to cover Friday's buy-ins as well.
can't buy a flop/turn/river card today and my opponents are always hitting some of them with pure rubbish pre flop. when i fold i would get the nuts negative variance has hit hard having a break as it is demoralising losses today total £9.57 balance up now only £14.14 all that hard work-half gone in 2 days such is nl4 and is why i want to get off this level badly.

Keep your chin up mate, it will come right again in the end. good luck.
Played very early morning (24/9) on 5-7 £100nl tables and after a good start spewed some back again but still left winning £228.29
Been out all day so never played anymore cash until i went on a few low stake mastercash tables where i got owned by debdobs in a few pots ( well played debs if you read this ) and ended up losing £27.11 in total on the 3 tables i was on but in all honesty i would pay that just for the entertainment of being on the show etc and i did manage somehow to win a free seat into mondays tsp classic because Ed liked the way i played a certain hand.
Also played the main and mini MTTs for a small loss in those of -£5.48
Just been on £100nl again for the past 2-3 hours on and off, started multi 6 tables but site running slow for me so cut down to the best 2 or 3 and made £165.76.

I'm running similar at the moment only it's at NL10 lol. I also have slowed down recently to just reasess and it does help you when you're just thinking about the game rather than constantly playing.
Overall though if people are still calling you with 'pure rubbish' as you say then eventually you should stack them it's just a case of being patient and having disicpline, I'll even admit lately I've lost some of my nittiness and have made a few frustarting calls that I know were wrong after looking back.
haven't played much recently, total for month is ~+£600. once i get another 30 c4p that will probably be me done for the month as freshers week has started again wiiiiiii
overall i'm pretty disappointed with my effort this month, must do better!!
Have been moving between a profit range of £550 and £700 for the last three days, burst out of it today and now and moved up to £865 profit for the month.
This is my best month on sky since taking poker more seriously at the back end of last year. Most of this profit has been acheived by playing HU sngs at all structures from hypers to 10 min blinds.
Cash for points is now 7.5k. So only need around 2.2k to maintain priority status and a bonus of £330.
Pretty average session for around 90% of it getting a few hands but also coolers to nicely level out ANY profit made but after the variance I've had was happy to settle for small down session, that was until 2 back to back hands which completely changed it and put me nicely into profit, well nicely compared to losing 6 BI's in 3 consecutive sessions recently lol. Also progressed to Monday Survivor... here we go again.....
been a decent day at 50nl, just finished my last session nearly blew most of my profit losing aa v kk, lost a flip and bluffed one buy in away like an idiot. but held in there and finished with a bit of profit to add to the more successful sessions i had. todays profit=$315.53. month to date(cash)=$1321.28 Month to date(tourney)=$1239.12 need to push some extra sessions or more tables in before end of this month to attain a new status...mass multi tabling is not my forte so will be interesting. gl everyone.

Another mostly frustrating day. Took down another bounty hunter and finished third in the Omaha freeroll, but also busted 3 times when I had top set on the flop (2 flushes and 1 overset). Then played a couple of the £5.50 mtts and was more or less card dead.

Very ugly three days, I don't enjoy the main event rebuy's, (or maybe that's, I don't enjoy the way I end up playing them), so avoided these on Friday and Saturday.
I did play the Omaha rebuy, which was a disaster and convinced me that for the time being at least, rebuy's are not for me!
So with no main events for me and a poker mtt league position of 31st, I decided to change tact and play a lot of the tourneys and events I wouldn't normally play in a bid to get into a TSP qualifier spot, also decided to use some of my Primo winnings and have ago at getting into the next SPT event, which isn't cheap!
None of the above paid off and my losses were made worse by failed attempts to satellite into the Sunday roller and Primo.
Last hand of the weekend was in an £11DYM, 4 players left I was third, short stack bet with Pocket 5's, I had Pocket King's and he hit his 5, summed up my 3 days experience at the tables nicely!
During September, I've experienced my largest profit and largest losses ever.

Why don't you wait till you're playing NL10 then start withdrawing for other types of games as you'll be able to build it up quicker.

Yh so do I, they're by far my favourite game in poker but discipline is also very important and you'll thank yourself if you reach that crucial cash goal which will help your MTT game.

Pretty good day today. Played the DTD. First one I got it all in on the turn with QQ, villain rivers flush. Second one I river K high flush, villain has the ace. Min-cashed the totty, standard flip AQ vs 88, so not all bad.
Also played 1 Omaha bounty hunter. Had 22 runners, I took it down with 5 or 6 bounties for a nice little profit. Last hand opponent turned nut straight, I filled up on river, oppo couldn't get away.
Only Mtts again for me today. Played 2x£12 sats (both no good) and the main primo, mini primo and mini roller. 5th in mini roller which paid for my play all night. Profit on night = +£8.70 September running total = +£703.17 Very best of luck to everyone. Jenny.x. Posted by jenny_IYY

Played 4 Mtts and some small cash games today. 3rd in velocity mtt was best i could do.
Didnt play alot of cash today but did ok from the sessions i had despite some horendous beats.
Played 2 tables of £100nl for about 30mins early afternoon, all pretty standard stuff for a £51.55 profit.
Played 4-5 tables of £100nl early evening and ran KK into quad Qs in a £280 pot which when looking back at the hand and my opo i shouldnt really have lost as much in, AA into set of 10s, QQ all in pre v the table loons K4 suited only to see runner runner straight lol and also 1 hand where i fired 3 bullets with 33 v a guy who i know if he calls 1 bet to shut down so my own fault entirely.
But for all of the above carnage i only lost £85.88 on that session so it felt like a win really
Played MTTs for most of the night with a small cash in the main and a few bountys which paid for the nights MTTs with a small profit left over of £29.17

Bumped into some good HU hyper players so it was hard to make headway. Cash for points is the focus now, got 7.9k want to push on towards 9k today rather than gas with JJ on im !
thanks for your encouragement and words rentisdue and dudeskin I think I was playing looser in those sessions as I was getting frustrated so contributed to my losses.
