would have been alot better if I could get past people who think top pair ace kicker is the nuts when I have an overpair and they hit trips/2 pair on river. way it goes!
Oh, does anyone else have a nemesis at the tables? the past couple of weeks this guy has always got there at the river. today on the turn i had the nut straight and he goes allin. the way he 's played it he has trips so a no brainer call. the river pairs another card for his full house. he just can't seem to miss against me at the moment! will be trying to avoid him for a while!!

In answer to your nemesis question i would say yes mate.
ME = i am my own nemesis at times lol always doing stupid things v the wrong people and end up beating myself
But in all seriousness i think 90% of players find certain types of player awkward if it dosnt fit in with there own style of play and like you already said its just as easy to find a different table if so and if it is just a question of them getting lucky v you all the time you should carry on playing them because luck only lasts so long.
But remember mate that if there is value at the same table as your nemesis its always better to stay there and just avoid playing v him while trying to isolate the value.

Played the main and mini + thews@10 MTTs with no joy in any and even forgot to take my rebuy in my fav MTT of the week Thews@10 which put me on a right downer
Went on £100nl and £200nl for about 2 hours late night-early morning and apart from 1 hand where i remember hitting a set of 9s v t/p with fl/dr all in on flop only to see the flush hit river for £270 pot, i carnt remember any other times where i hit a hand. Had plenty flops where i had massive draws but never hit a thing and betting your draws can become expensive if your not hitting
Like i have said before though sessions like this happen alot and although they are frustrating you just have to take them on the chin and remember tomorrows another day

oh yeah, noticed I am 25 points short of the 1,000!! will be first time if i get there. I blame you Jenny for starting the thead!! LOL! didn't realise I had played so much!
Played the mini main and 2 £20gtd PLOs. Completely card dead in mini, played like 5 hands during first hour, made a stand last hand before break with A5, villain called with J9s and made his straight. Finished runner-up in both PLOs. First one was very short at start of heads-up and villain was running like god, quads 3-handed and then again heads-up. Second one was a good battle, but with blinds going up we just got it in with 2 mediocre hands and I lost. Still, so far this month I'm cashing exactly 50% of the £20gdts, I just need to improve my heads-up.

Finally broke the 2k mark wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
2 very bad players on it but just couldnt hit a thing v them and ended up costing me £172.88.
Been out all day today so havnt played any cash and just managed to get back in time to play the bounty hunter main and mini but after only 2 hands i got disconnected and couldnt get back on the site for about 30mins or so.
When i did get back on my chips had almost halfed and first hand back i got dealt ak suited all in v a guy with k4 only to see the 4 hit the river (area 51 here i come
Site seemed to be really playing up for me running slow and discoing etc so decided to come off for a while then.
Ive just been on 3-4 £100nl tables before typing this and made £87.02 so am going to call it a day now.

Had a night off on Wednesday to see Peter Kay.
An 18th place finish in Thursday's BH Main event and 24th in the BH mini, ensured Tuesday to Thursday produced a profit of £39.02

As a side issue, with one day remaining I am currently 32nd in the MTT league, (was 35th 3 days ago), it's an outside chance, but today, as I have been doing for the last week or so, I will be trying to move into the top 30, which means playing as many MTT's as possible, so bankroll management goes out the window today!

Month started slow for me but picked up again towards the middle before slowing again near the end, all in all im happy with the profit from september but one thing i will try and do more of next month is to try and grind cash4points alot more as im sure if i put the time in i could be getting at least double what i got this month and poss alot more as long as it didnt make my profit suffer.

Had a minor recovery today, to finish below my peak level of profit at £630, also managed 10k poker points which produces £330 (including 25% bonus for priority club) so thats a total profit of £960.
I should be pleased with this but know it could have easily have been more than a grand, next month im setting a target of 1.5k profit and cash for points of at least 16k.

The most puzzling number is the PLO8 result. Last month I made almost £85 with an ROI of 70% and this month I'm losing pretty big. For now I'll blame it on variance and assume my true skill is somewhere in the middle.
Overall I'm happy I had a winning month (3 for 3 on SkyPoker, wiiiiiii). I'm happy with my cash rate, but too often I just min-cash. If I can turn some of those 2nd and 3rd finishes into victories I will be in great shape. I play for fun and not to make money, but winning is half the fun.

I myself havnt played alot this month and have prob played more today than any other day this month.
Some really sick beats on £100nl today inc at least 3 where i lost to runner runner in £200+ pots so at the end of the day im happy only losing £78.21 on it.

Well its quite early in the morning and im going to post my profit for this month on sky.
I'm not going to give a breakdown weekly cos im tired and can't be asked to work it out but i came second in bounty hunter monday night for £900 ish and i just won the friday rebuy for £1682 along with £180 profit from the £1k gtd omaha.
In cash games i played NLHE50 this month breaking even in that maybe a loss of 50 im not sure.
so lets say £2500ish having lost some mtt's along the course of the month.
I did win £1,500 on another network this month nt sure if it counts in this challenge but thought id add it anyway.
Very pleased with my performance and play, definitely my best month in poker. Been taking the game seriously for around 18 months.
