    Thanks chaps. 

    Eased into it tonight. 

    Watched the Arsenal game then played a session of turbos accross 3 sites. 

    Nothing to show for it aside from 'a' Head. £1.88. 

    Best run was a $5 hyper on 888 and the £2 speed rebuy on here, both times losing pre flop flips for top 3 stacks around the bubble. c'est la vie. 

    Pretty boring playing MTTs after focusing on cash of late. Not much to think about in them. 

    Maybe there is lots to think about, and that's why I'm average at em'.

    Overall loss of about £28 means roll is about £1135.

    I sent off an application today to do some volunteer work at the local RSPCA rescure shelter thing where we got Toby from 13/14 years ago. 

    If I don't hear back by tomorrow I'll give them a ring as I'd like to get through over xmas and walk some dogs!

    Wacko, I think we've got a good chance in SA. 

    Mainly because they're a side I feel is in decline, if they were as strong as they were 18 months ago I'd fear the worst. 

    But we have a decent team at the moment too, a few potential match winners in there, can we take 20 wickets often enough? That'd be my doubt. 

    Biased as a Yorkie, but I think Plukett and Rashid at least being in the squad would give us better options to make that happen. 

    Very under-whelmed with the selections of Woakes and Jordan, but Footitt and Finn ("back to his best" again???) along with the resurgent Broad and of course the best swing bowler the World has ever seen in Jimmy give me optimism :)

    Loving the big bash btw, plenty of British interest, very strong outfits for all teams, and the normally unbearably biased Aussie commentaters are actually quite entertaining.

    "A day of 2 halves"

    Afternoon cash session = +$40

    Evening cash session = - $45



    Wanting to get back to playing some HU sngs, so I started today with 2 x blocks of 10 games just at $3.50 level to follow on from the cash sessions. 

    Afternoon session = 9/10. 

    We ran ok !

    Night session = 6/10

    We lost the first 3 and I thought it was going the same was as the evening cash sesh! 

    Run good returned though. 

    Total 15/20 (+$32)


    The $3.50 seemed soft, is this as a result of the recent changes at stars?

    Lots of regs left? Changed formats?

    Or is it just a case of "lol its a 2 quid game what do you expect?"

    (I also got a pop up warning me that I'm running illegal pokertracker too, and that I may be banned !?!?)

    Same plan as yesterday, morning cash session followed by a block of 10 HU hypers, and the same again at night.

    HU block 2 = 5/10

    Particuarly frustrating Danish chap wanted to take the gloss off the day after I went 4-1 up in the evening HU battle. 

    After losing the next 5 to go down 4-5, the pressure was on, so I was happy to come away with the draw.

    A very pleasant day all round. 

    After having more bloods last week, I got the results today and the vitamin deficiency they found 4 months ago has now been fixed. 

    I am not fixed, so it's kind of good and bad news. 

    But it's 1 more thing ruled out, so on we go in the search for a cure....   :)

    Xmas day tomorrow, typically not a big fan of this time of year. 

    With the mess I've been in over the last 5/6 years I've dreaded anything that involves family and socialising, but this year, thanks in part to the help, advice and encouragement of the people who read this thread, I'm actually quite looking forward to the day. 

    (And then ofc the best day of the year (ainec) which follows on Saturday <3)

    Soooo, thanks to all regular (and irregular) contributors on here, Nosey, Alan, Stoke, Geldy, Tomo, Jacco, TK, davelufc :), Phantom, Lambo, P, Splashman, Henrik, MasterB, etcetcetc. 

    Really appreciate all your contributions to help keep this thing going. 

    I'm hoping there will be alot of exciting things to follow in 2016 :)

    Hope you'z all have a good few days with your families/friends .

    Now I'm a grown up, (in terms of age, if nothing else) apparently I have to wait until mid afternoon to open my presents. 

    pffft. 

    It meant I could squeeze an hour or so in at the tables though.

    Back on the felt today after a couple of days off. 

    The parents went all "Powshhhh" on Xmas day because we had 'guests'.

    My brother, who has ate his xmas dinner on his knee in front of the tele with us every single year is now considered a guest as he moved out a few months ago. 

    So we had wine with Xmas dinner !!!

    Wut ! ? 

    Uh oh. 

    Was ok. 

    Not as nice as the 3 beers afterwards though! :)

    *Gasp* 

    Takes my total alcohol consumption since quitting alcohol (that doesn't half sound like the start of a Donald sentence) to 1 pint, 2 bottles of bud, 1 glass of proseccdoh and 3 cans of Lager.

    Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I've been nackered the last few days. 

    All the junk I've eaten probably hasn't helped either. 

    So couldn't be R'sd to play.

    I was actually $4 better off than the graph shows, my tracker always takes a hand or 2 to get going and misses some hands when new tables start. 

    I can work on my mental game day and night for months and that will still annoy me.

    Poker Effort = 1/10.

    Today was not a good day. 

    Just 10 hypers played sporadically throughout the day.

    Really really struggling with tiredness and dizzyness and generally feeling rubbish, like all I want to do is sleep all day. 

    Won 4, lost 6 (- $7.80)


    I don't know when, or why it happens, but I'm due a health upswing soon.

    Apparently that's how it works. 

    Fingers crossed it's tomorrow.

    There is a cricket match on tonight. 

    Sky bet are doing that classic bookmakers trick of offering punters the chance to bet on an even money chance coming in at odds against in the form of the coin toss. 

    Sri Lanka are 10/11 to win it. 

    New Zealand are too. 

    Funnily enough, other bookmakers are taking this oppertunity to print £££ too. 

    Why not oblige both firms, and put 10 pounds on each to win the toss. 

    You will get a £19.09 return on your £20 investment. 

    And a £5.50 poker token. 

    £5.50 comp for 91pence anyone?

    £4.59 in the bank wohoooo. 

    Unless the skybet peepz have access to your bet365 account history, or you give away your methods in your forum diary, they are 'snookered'.

    No HU's today as I was forced off the cash tables due to my head spinning again. 

    The brain, such as it is, couldn't take anymore. 

    Nice for 'concentration fatigue' to dictate for once rather than general 'tiredness fatigue'.

    I want to read a book :)

    I haven't read a full, fiction book since A level English, 10 years ago. 

    I haven't chosen to read a full book in my own time since I was 14, it was the grey goosebumps book <3

    So I'm after reccommendations. 

    I don't know any authors or genres or anything. 

    Something good, fictional, and that's easy to follow/easy going. 

    Fire away with your suggestions :)

    Happy New Year to all :)

    Poker light today. 

    10 HU sngs, winning 4 which means we lost SIX. 

    Means I'm taking a challenge roll of £1227.49 in to 2016.

    Next year I want to focus way more on my health. 

    I've made lots of changes and have little to show for it, but could I have done more? yes for sure. 

    Goal setting has worked well in other mini challenges recently, volume ones in poker, the month of being a veggie and ofc the ongoing one of staying booze free. 

    The main way I can help myself to improve health wise are diet, and exercise, and the only way I can measure that (sMarter), unfortunately, is weight loss. 

    I've never been a rsed about dieting, or my weight, or owt like that. But it does seem a no brainer that losing weight will help with all manner of health issues. And it's the only way to measure overall/general lifestyle improvement. 

    So I have to run with it. 

    So, that's the main goal moving in to 2016, I want to lose 2 stone in weight by continuing to improve my diet and exercising alot more! 

    I sampled a frozen brocolli, pea and water smoothie this morning. 

    Cannot wait to get going!!!

    It was to be expected, reading is pretty zzzz. 

    Still looking for a suggestion if anyone has any ideas, a story that's easy going, good and preferably not fantasy or aliens or robots or owt sh 1te like that. 

    Always a positive when the main characters in a story are humans, I find. 

    Or toys. Or animals. 

    Just not dragons etc.

    Any tips for the darts? I need to win my tenner back (didnt realise no cash out avaliable) lost the 5.50 dym too.

    I would assume that was to stop abuse of the Promo - in effect, people could place the bet, then insta cashout. That was not the idea of the Promo. ;)

    Worth reminding people, that when people abuse these Promos, they get excluded from all future Promos right across SB&G, & that includes Sky Poker Promos.
