Any plans for another boot camp?

Are there any plans to hold another boot camp like the one over a year ago in Bristol? I couldn't make that one sadly, and whilst I have played a lot of t'internet poker, the idea of having the opportunity to learn amongst other learners in a real bricks 'n' mortar place is appealing.

I gather the social side was pretty good too! Any others keen?

Tikay did metion in tonights show that perhaps they should set up another bootcamp.
It might be a good idea if others who think there should be another bootcamp to put there names to this thread as a guide to Sky to how many players want another.
I know my game could improve if I attended a bootcamp.

I'd be interested, depending on location. I would imagine there would be a lot of interest so perhaps more than one could be set up in multiple locations?

i would imagine there would be interest in this from a lot of people across the country. Its probably a bit unrealistic but maybe it could have been incorporated into the sky poker tour that covers locations across the country and would therefore be convenient for people to attend one closrst to home.

I could be accused of being London-Centric, but I reckon Loose Cannon's could be a cracking venue for this. And Roy Houghton seems like a decent enough chap.

Another one for a Scotland location. I emailed last time when I couldn't go and was told there were no plans but it would be good. You could have a basic and advanced group at the same location?

I'd also love to attend a boot camp and am certain any such event would be very well supported.

So come on Sky, help out all of us players who have not had the chance to attend previous events, you know it can only improve and strengthen the Sky Poker Community.

I'd like to attend a boot camp, I remember the last one at Bristol being publicized, but at the time, I was still trying to get the basics fixed in my head, and I wasnt ready for it. But I know I could really benefit from a Boot
Camp now.

I am not aware of any plans for a formal Sky Poker Boot-Camp in the immediate future.

However......on a private basis, & for beginners only, I'd be more than happy to spend a day a month at different locations round the UK to help those who are new to the game, & need a little help with basics. There would be no charge, it'd be completely free.

I'd prefer to keep it to manageable groups, 10 maximum really, so we can all work as a group, with time for plenty of 1 to 1 discussion.

How do we get started?

Just list your name, & where you live. If we get 6 or 8 players interested in, say, the North-West, I'll come up & we'll have a session at G Blackpool or G-Manchester. Ditto anywhere, really.

So, the ball is back in your court now......

For now, we need a few more recruits. Or should that be "conscripts"?

Ive only just ventured onto the Sky Poker site and I think my game would benefit greatly from a session. I live in Cumbria so would be available for blackpool, manchester, or even glasgow or newcastle.

If theres any problemsto get numbers for enues, ive also got a few mates who would like to attend.
