In Response to Re: Running like Jesus challenge now pfff : Thankyou dudeskin8 ill try in terms of my days poker its been a good day for me as ive final tabled 1mtt and cashed in the £1200 bounty tonight. I also decieded to multi table 4 cash tables which i made a profit on all and was hoping to hit the 500million hand which i think is a long way off yet so might get some sleep and hopfully wont miss it tomorrow. I had a day off poker on friday as i was at a funeral of my brother in law, He was only 41 and diagnosed with cancer last month. It really makes you think about how lucky we are to have our health and should take every day as a blessing. Its the first time ive known someone pass away with this dreadfull illness and my heart and thoughts go out to others who have been going through it. He was a good lad and loved his football, poker and cider and lived life to the full, i was honoured to carry him to his final resting place and really made me think about life and how i live it. When death comes to us so does life so was really chuffed to hear about mr orfords new arrival today. Its never worth getting anoyed over silly things like losing at poker or anything else because life is too short and we should all try and be the happiest and nicest to other people as much as we can and when were feeling down try and look at positive things in life and we will be a lot happier for it. On that note id like to wish you all well and hope good things come to you and keep on living like it was your last day Posted by Dazler
Very well said Dazler. Some people only realise these things when it is too late. My brother died tragically over ten years ago. After a traumatic period, i adopted a different ethos. I eventually had the strength to go out and enjoy life by putting him inside me, as i like to think, so that he can enjoy too. It sounds corny but it's a way of coping. Learning new skills, poker inlcuded, is a part of that enjoyment and fun. Socrates said that we should all......Live life as play. You can't say fairer than that, can you?

sorry to hear that bud. Its not easy having something tragic happen especialy at an early age but you can take a positive thing out of it by going through such an experience and live for them. Otherwise life isnt worth living if you dont have fun doing it. Losing only makes us stronger.
This month im gonna try and win at the 2/4p cash tables and mainly play them during happy hour for the added rake. I had a go today and made a small profit will update you and let you know how i get on as people keep saying this is a bingo game and is pure luck im gonna try and prove that there wrong and you can win on um very easily (i hope anyways!).
also had a go in the £100 freeroll today and came 38th out of a field of 491 for a grand total of 60p profit
3 tables played Day 1 buy in £6.95 profit = +£1.20 buy in £3 profit = +£3.69 buy in £3 profit = -19p total Cash profit so far £4.70
i was up quite a bit more but lost a couple of big hands against your usual chasers.
been playing some DYM this morning and i must say this hand here has to be the highest level ive played in a long while was around level 10, everyone was literaly left with nothing at the end but i got through literaly by the skin of my teeth lol. This was 6 in a row just got 7 in a row but on the 8th game my pk Ks ran into pk As

Im really liking the £3.30 dym and only lost 1 game in them so far out of 11. So br now £94.12 after starting with £20 on the 1st of may. Just waiting for my C4P bonus from last month and ive cracked it past the £100 mark.

My profit margins were a bit out last time i posted but this is how my dym standings for 2 days running.
Just an update of progress so far havnt played that much but had a cash session this morning dym's have dropped a bit to some sick beats but still up and happy. C4P total is 298 havnt played any mtts last couple of days may have a go at one tonight or tomorrow.
morning Daz, great results there m8, esp dym,s keep it up, :-) dev Posted by devonfish5
ty devonfish even though i shouldnt even touch the £5.50 dyms they really do eat into the profit margin with the rake if i lose one so think im gonna stay well clear of them till im rolled for it. Seems pointless otherwise and will make the hard work for nothing if i lose a few. Not sure if i will stay with them or move back onto cash tables as can make small profits on there with less risk.
who says the nl4 games have bingo players, he shoved every hand pre about 4 times before this one, luckily im good at bingo as i used to go with my gran and know you need to match 5 numbers to win
finally got on a table with you in a DYM...and one of your, shock horror, losing ones though i understand your frustration with one particular who was laying some, shall we say, bizarre hands in the early levels. I managed to get past the ost on that one but the evening gave me a weeks worth of poker clinic posts, i guess. In fact, the cat is still limping!....Get your pencil sharpened, mate!!!!

lol yea the never ending call of raises with J2 suited constantly and calling of 2 high flush draws or st8s to the river did become a little anoying lol, but i did play that game badly i really should know better how to deal with calling stations such as the villian in question, just typical she had a half decent pair of cards when i did shove shortstacked. still would of been nice to have had a decent game with you im sure we will meet again at the tables and as you said 'pencil sharpened and notes made
Depends how good my connection is as lappy a bit of a pain at times but generaly no more than 2-3 mainly 2 though, Im thinking of bumping that up a bit soon when i get my monitor connected up.
have hardly played any poker this weekend, been out dogsitting, too ikea shopping which i hated but there meatballs were nice mmmmmm and today my dads birthday all i got to play was about 15min this morning on the cash tables and made a little profit and cant wait to get a proper session in as im getting mtt itchyness at the moment but cant find any cream for it at the pharmacy. So far ive cashed 14 tables outta 17 on nl4 and only didnt make a profit on those couple because i had to leave for some reason or another. The players im coming across seem to be very poor! it could be a good run i dont know but dosnt feel thats the case i think there just not very good and and a bit crazy lol so i definatley have the edge. My plan is to make £100 profit for the month on them if i can. Then continue maybe doing the same for June before maybe moving up a level if my br is worthy of it. I had a good run at the dym's but to me i find cash tables and buying in for £3 a much safer bet and ROI much higher with rake less noticable. Mtts i plan to play the £1-£2 rebuy tornys as these are great with around 20-30 players paying around 30 to 50 quid and only buying in a max or 3 buy ins which would be my usual £3-6 buy in for cash or dym.

Yeah I wouldn't be playing an £11 MTT with rebuys and a fast structure with your BR lol.
Good luck anyway, managing to get a bankroll going from nothing starting with just freerolls takes real discipline and is really impressive.
