It was a car crash. 50p/£1 table, lost the £100 buy-in on one hand after calling OOP with 89s. Could YOU have put them on K2?
Not sure if I played this horribly (every street looks questionable, but happy to explain my thinking if required). It seemed logical to me at the time! Probably looks daft to everyone else though.
I understand that playing this hand in the first place is iffy however i hadnt played a hand in a while and was trying to keep from being seen as too knitty. when the raise preflop happened i decided to see a flop as also i had folded alot to raises preflop on this table and the raise could simply be because of this. I was completely prepared to fold the hand on the flop and put no more money in the pot even if i paired up! My question is, can i get away from this after the turn or am i always loosing my stack here?

Hi mate, just seen the hand on the Poker Clinic. That guy sat next to Carlo (can't remember his flippin name now lol) said he'd go broke too, however, Carlo seemed a lot more reserved about it. Imo (for you) it's a fold on the turn, possibly even the flop by the time it gets to you though that might be a bit nitty.
Other guy in BB showing big strength and could've had almost anything (ie bigger flush draw or 2 pairs) given the preflop action. Come that 2S on the turn, BB again bets out big after you check, about £30 which isn't great for you as it is imo, however, I flat call that bet and my flat call there should be even more reason for you to fold.
You've only put in about £13 so far and there's 2 other people in the hand showing massive strength, you've got a nine high flush on a paired board which deffo isn't boding well at all after the turn and subsequent action by the time it gets to you.
I was just gutted the BB had the same hand as me lol
Hand played on the £2.50/5 Master Cash 20 table a few minutes ago. I am not in the hand, but interested to hear Neil's thoughts on DerpDerp 3-betting this flop? Also thoughts on LOL_RAISE willing to get in 200bb on this board, given the action pre, with DerpDerp last to call pre (wide range pre, 3betting flop, leading turn)
Hand History #487806126 (22:16 04/03/2012)was too busy Marveling at my belly button to see the AA pop up, had to rush to hit a button Just so happens the button I hit was call, family pot, cursing myself for letting the limpers in. long story short AA became Runner runner Nut flush
A few hands later A Rag Becomes Nut Flush, not good play by any means and I was Lucky, but ya gotta love runner runnr nuts

Shud i of gone all in or shud i of called the 500 and seen the flop? also can he really call my all in with JJ? in my opinion id of folded JJ to an all in bet, but what do you guys think?
Very new to Sky Poker, only been playing for a few days but having a lot of fun. Interested to know what analysts thought of my play with 46o in hand no 488236907. Saw a flop from big blind agains small blind a and a limper in mid position. Flop comes 3 overs obviously and somewhat connected, small blind leads out and i decide to float, knowing i have nothing and expecting limper behind to fold. Plan was if a brick came on turn to fire on that and push small blind off. Surprised to see limper also call and leave my plan in limbo. Turn comes a brick leading to check check check. River comes another brick, SB checks, I Bet, both then fold. Question is, did i play it well or just get lucky? Hope you guys can help.

I was dealt AA in the SB. Everyone limped so I raised to £1 with one caller. Bet aggressively every street, having a strong feeling I was ahead the whole time. I lost the hand to 23 off suit on the river. I seem to almost always lose hands with AA when I clearly should not be doing so. This makes me think it's something to do with my play. Please help!

Hi,
Could you please advise if my check/call strategy on the flop and turn with top pair (decent kicker) was the right play?
I am always aware this allows opponent to catch two pair or hit set but in the long run, is this a decent play?
What about the river. Should I lead out?
Thanks.
