    I think Ireland Croatia will be a 0-0 bore.
    I think Ireland are very well organised but I just don't think they will be willing to get forward enough.

    The Spanish game couldn,t have been any worse for my bets. I blame the manager - ridicolous formation that you could see after 15-20 minutes wasn,t working. Tactics all wrong - trying to thread it through the mi8ddle of defence (against Italy) . David Silva standing about up front

    So when you go 1 down and you,ve Llorente on the bench with 29 goals this season why not take of one of the best players in Fabregas and put Torres on - brilliant idea 

    Felt like giving up but decided stupidly to chase losses in the Ireland game which i thought kicked off at 8 but just heard Croatia are 1 up - maybe not to stupid. we,ll see

    Eventually a bit of  luck - Just wish i,d backed St Ledger to score anytime as well as 1st scorer. He always used to get forward with PNE and scored a few in his time there

    Think i,ll be following you there with that bet. Just checked on oddschecker and best price now 6/4 so probably best to get bet on early as i think they,ll only get shorter as match gets closer

    Since I last posted I've had a few more bets.  I had a Poland/Russia double @ 4.25/1 on the first day.  At half time I didn't fancy Poland any more so put a bit on a Greece or Draw/Russia double @ 14/1 to end the day well in profit.

    On the second day I noticed that the Czech Republic's next game was against Greece.  I'm not sure how the Czechs will fare against Poland but I really fancy them to edge the Greeks, so I lumped a few bob on the Czech Republic to finish second in their group at 5/1.  I'll probably back them not to qualify if they win today.  I could do it now and still be in profit as long as they don't win the group (unlikely imo).

    I stayed clear of most other games as I wasn't completely sure about them and I had some interest in them anyway with my other tournament bets, but I really thought a draw in the Italy/Spain game was overpriced at 5/2.  That was another nice day.

    I bet I sound really smug.  If the Czech's lose tonight that might change a wee bit.

    When I put the bet on I was expecting Poland to run over Greece and be a few up at half time.  As it happens, I thought both teams played poorly.  Greece are a lot better than their first half showing suggests.  This will sound really stupid but as a nation Greece score very low in individualism.  The result is that they are more likely to pull together and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.  They come back from behind a fair amount.  England score high on individualism btw, so we arguably have better players as they strive to be the best, but as a consequence they have bigger egos.

    Also I couldn't see Poland creating any great chances based on their first half showing and they looked content with a one goal lead.

    This game is putting years on me. Every time Cech goes up for it I think he's gonna drop it.  I don't know why the Czech's look so nervous.  They shouldn't have any money riding on it.

    Do any of you do the corals yes no coupon?? you have to say yes or no to 6 possible outocomes, and it pays 33/1.  I do it quite often and have done it every game so far in the Euros, I dunno why really 33/1 is such poor odds, but its a bit of fun and keeps me interested in the games, well suppose to be a bit of fun, but really been peeing me off last couple of days keep getting 5 outa 6 right.

    Draw at half time - NO - correct
    Both teams to score - YES - correct
    Odd Number of corners - YES - correct
    Greece last freekick - NO - correct
    red card, penalty, or goal driectly from freekick - NO - correct
    Greece more yellow cards - YES - wrong

    3-3 on the yellow card front, I guess you should say no there ebcause you get the Czech's on your side as well as the tie.  Only a fiver on it but still would have been a nice return

    Tonights has the same outcomes except Polan replace Greece

    Odd Number of corners - YES
    Poland last freekick - NO

    Think a lot will depend on the result of the first game if Denmark win then Germany will park the bus as they will know 2 draws in their next 2 games get them through and the dutch out.
    if portugal win then the Germans will be more attacking,whatever happens the Dutch will have to go all out for the win but their defense looks very shakey to me and if things dont go there way early they will all turn on each other and sulk.
