    Hi everyone,


    A new week of programming of Channel 865 (soon to be going up 4 places with a bullet to 861 btw) and what a community line-up we have for you in our first live show on Tuesday night.


    Richard Orford (that’s me, and yes, it seems I am now talking about myself in the third person- delusions of grandeur? Or just a grammatical conundrum when you’re the thread poster and the host of the show? Discuss...) will be hosting the show.


    Alongside me for the full duration will be site legend Scotty77- known to a much smaller circle of people by the avatar of Ryan Spittles.


    And from 8pm I'll have the pleasure for the very first time of two extra guests on the sofa. Yes, it’s only taken 3 months, so I can only assume I have been a good boy this week.


    We have Neil Giblin aka Jakally,



    and Viva Las Vegas winner Tommy Dyer aka Tommy D.

    So, you have THREE guys right there who've won the lot between them on Sky Poker and know how poker is played on the site inside-out. If there’s nothing you can pick up from these guys, then you’re in denial, frankly.


    We’ll have the usual line-up for a Tuesday including cash tables, Sky Poker School and Chatbox (news topics below). More details to be posted as I get them.


    And- in amongst all the serious poker stuff- how about this to win our regular 5k Open main event seat..?


    If they opened up a poker cinema multiplex, what films would be showing at it?

    Hi guys.

    Looking forward to a great show tonight and with the lineup that is on the show i am certain you wont let us down.

    I saw Ryan earlier this morning with over 7 buyins in his stack at a 1/2 nlh table ( MBN :) ) and seeing as all the guys tonight are mainly cash players i was wondering out of interest in all the time you have played poker what is the highest number of buyins you have had in your stack at any one time ?  ( You neednt answer Rich mate as 1 buyin is the amount most people sit with every day :) ).

    Also since starting on sky poker i have spent alot of time just watching tables and taking notes aswell as playing them and am finding that so far the note taking is the most important thing i have done especially as far as cash games are concerned.

    I even have notes on all 3 of you incase one day i get to the stage where i am good enough to be playing you all on a day to day basis although in all honesty i think notes on you guys are not as reliable as on some players because you dont seem to play certain hands the same way as you did the last time etc and mix up your games alot more than on the levels i play at.

    Just wondering when you take notes on players what type of things do you write and what would you say the most important things about a oppos game are to note down ?

    Can i also wish you all the very best of luck in vegas and am looking forward to reading about all the ups n downs in any bloggs you may do.

    Hi Guys, 

    I don't know whether  Neil has ever been to Vegas before, but I know that Tommy  hasn't & Richard never will. ( Sorry for the rub down Rich.)

    So what 3 bits of advice would Ryan give them (Poker or non poker) regarding the upcoming time in Vegas.

    Good luck to all 3 in Vegas & all the others from Sky, I am sure you will all do Sky poker proud.

    How did they build up the bankrolls they have today and what levels did they start at (if they wouldnt mind also sharing the number of BIs they had at those levels to start with)?

    Good afternoon Gentlemen. My question is a general one. Do the guys believe that some players styles are more suited to full ring games rather than 6-max? Also do they believe that a players style can change so much that they go from being good at 6-max to being awful, whilst going from bad at full ring to very decent? Congratulations to TommyD on his qualification to Vegas. Does he plan to play as loose/aggressive in the Main Event as he does on the Mastercash tables or does he plan to play a more tight/aggressive style in the big one?

    hi rich my question is for all 3 fellas tommy jakally and ryan when your in the main event and if u manage to get on  a tv table 1st hand of the main event  and 2 all ins which will never happen but just say it does this 1 time  and u have aces would u call knowing u are miles ahead  or fold and get the commentators and the world think your a supernit lol

      Have a Question for Ryan, Jakally and Tommy (good luck in Vegas)

       When you First started on cash & then moved up through the Levels, Apart from BRM what other Factors did you take into consideration when moving up & was it 1 level at a time or did you jump up a few? your thoughts please
