I'd like to ask the chaps about a popular, though short-lived, forum diary entitled "Going Pro". Tommy, Ryan and Neil all provided good advice to the player in question and I know that Tommy and Neil in particular were concerned that he was a tad naive to consider turning professional on the back of six weeks of profit. I was wondering:
i) How long a period of large, sustained profits would it take for Tommy to consider turning fully-pro? And how large would those profits need to be?
ii) How long a period of sustained losses it would take for Neil or Ryan to consider getting a "proper" job?
Also, on the back of comments about being addressed in person by your poker alias - Scotty and Jakally - spare a thought for those of us who have it worse than you. I can't wait to slap a "BorinLoner" sticker on my chest at the next SPT.
Question for the Guys going to Vegas! Are they offering some of their Action? If the answers yes, How much of their purse would they go up to? and if they had a good Vegas, to make it as serious live players would they go after sponsorship? Final question If Richard decided to go to Vegas how much of his action would they be prepared to put up?

Do your fellow teaching collegues and students know that you are a semi-pro/pro poker player or do you keep it on the down low (assuming most 11 -16 year old do not watch sky poker).
Given most mainstream views are that poker = gambling, I would assume you do not advertise it.
Tv table was the £4k £110 buy in from last nigh Have had alot of inputs in this hand was early on in the tourny
I put him on AA KK AQ when the flop hits yea my k9 call was loose but with the button i wanted to out play play him , when the flop runs out i think its best to flat his bet then try take it away on the turn which comes to complete flush/straight eg , i think min raising here is the best way to take it down when he calls me im defo putting him on over pair with the flush draw as its so early on i couldnt see him loving his 1 pair , the river hits my trips which was a bonus card for me but was never the reason i led out as i was always trying to take it down on the turn , input on this be good thx
Hi all great show as always, but am I seeing things, I think your graphic is wrong on the cash for points, I'm sure it said 15000 pointts = £15 shouldn't it be 1500 points
great show so far just a little point i want to raise regarding your advertising of the early bird promo.
you stated that during happy hours you could get a double boost on your points when playing 3 handed or less. i just want to point out that the T&C's say this isnt possible.
hope the rest of the show is as good as whats went before

Question for Tommy What went through his head when he called Greghoggs 5bet shove pre with just 6 high? And what went through his head when the cards where flipped? (im not just hoping tommy actually remembers this hand) Posted by The_Don90
Was a forum cash game lol i had 64s and tommy called my 5 bet shove with 63o/s.. Donald folded an ace after he 3 bet otb which is rare in itself!
here is a marginal hand i played in the mini open tonight and was doing well in 8th place till this hand, wonderd what you would do? should i of shoved or bet pot on the flop or played it diffently? i did want to enduce a shove from my apponant but didnt want to do the shoving until the turn because of the flush draw.
also i have qualified for the jubilee hu 2k shuffle mtt for 1 quid so really chuffed considering it was for a £50 ticket any advice for that kind of torny as its a shuffle
