How do you guys play suited cards, do you look for card thats are close together so you can look at a stright and flush or play high suited cards just looking for the flush.
I must have walked past both Mr. Thew and Mr. Bland a dozen times at SPT Blackpool and failed to introduce myself or shake either gentleman's hand. Many apologies, although meeting me is no great shakes so you didn't miss much.
I'd like to pick up the topic of showing your hand at the table without declaring an action, when facing a bet. Surely there are legal obligations on a casino or card room to prevent collusion. So any time that a hand is exposed facing a bet, the possibility of collusion skyrockets and therefore the hand should be declared dead.
This happened to me on one of the most memorable hands I've ever played: I had a Royal Flush (I really did) on the river and bet out with it. The other chap ermm'd and arrr'd and then revealed his two pair, without declaring his action. I declared my hand as a Royal Flush and the table erupted, telling me that my opponent hadn't acted. I had to call the floor to explain that the house rules meant that his hand was dead the moment he exposed it, but it surprised me that the rest of the table was unaware of this rule.
Great show tonight chaps, with my new favourite presenter! Does anyone know where I can rent sumo suits in Nottingham?

Thank you Richard & Sky Team for my free entry to the Sunday's Lucky Seven. I do enjoy the Caption Competitions and thinking up silly things to say. Not expecting to win any prizes but nice to know my efforts are appreciated. I will have to look it up and see if I'm going to be out of my depth and need TKs headache pills so I wake up on the final table. ? ;o) Many Hugs Annie xxx

No worries, Annie and Rob. You were both worthy winners. Good luck in the lucky 7s.
I enjoyed last night's show- Julian is always great company and is a pleasure to work with and Dave Bland is like one of Sky Poker TV's best-kept secrets: everytime he comes off the bench, he puts in a terrific performance. I really rate him as an analyst.

Cheers Rich, I'll give you that fiver when I see you next
It was a pleasure being on and I thought the caption contest and the quality of the questions that came in last night made it a lot easier for people to get involved and enjoy the show. Loved every minute of it.

Only saw Top of the Pots but thought Dave was excellent, really good TV watching.
ps from the side event in spt cardiff in 2011 i know that dave is also experienced to talk in depth about the prospects of winning with the complete range of starting hands
Thank you very very very much! It's the one comp i've always wanted to enter! Mind I don't know how i'll perform because i'm off to Salisbury races. Hopefully to see a horse called Knightly Escapade run well Any chance of an advance on my prize money so I can put a decent wager on? pmsl
I did enjoy the show up to the point I fell asleep Dave and Thewy are always great viewing! It's more like a lads night out than a TV show, makes you feel like you're on the next table having a drink and a chin wag in your front room!
Thanks once again, run golden Richard aka Cleansweep
