I understand your point Don, unfortunately I'm just helping Simon out for a few days while he's away so he will have to confirm when he's back. As you pointed out all other events with more than 1 player states that it's cumulative scoring. I see no reason why last night would have been any different, this may have possibly been missed from the description. These things happen as we're all aware.
If I am wrong then I'll apologise and scoring will be amended, unfortunately that isn't going to be until Tues/Wed.

I can see that there may be a grey area now, but All I spoke too were aware that it would be a doubles cumulative score all along!!
And if anyone had any doubts they should have addressed this before the start!
On my table & in chat, this was asked at start & during tournie and it was explained that both scores count, which would have been witnessed by many, including defo maxally & possibly Clare!!
In fact rite throughtout tourney the banter was about the cumulative scores, until the very end, when someone brought this up!! I must admit I found it quite off-putting when they did, but hey, forgotten now!!
Can I politely suggest, we move on in The Forum Olympic Spirit!!
I Congrajulate Clare & lee on their superb performances, and feel it's for the best if this does not escalate any further!!
I wait for Simon to ajudcate officially as he has thrown the most time into it, but result seems fair to me, despite protest, which i can see point, but post tournie seems slightly flawed!!

ps. in Simons early workings & suggestions, it was clear that All multiple events scores would be cumulative, sorry it is clearly just a oversight if it was not in header, also it does not say highest scorer counts, does it either, so hope with common sense this is understood!
