    you can play on any computer ip adress dosnt matter as long as you log in with your account and not your parents.

    ip address change not a prob, only if other players are on it at same time, and evidence of collusion in tournies etc!!

    Relax, Tackle the issues in front of You One at a time!! Dont Stress over Ones you have no control over!!

    Hi Hitman,

    Thankyou for the help, advice and offer.  I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.  My connection is going to be down for a week so I can only use 3g at home which is basically no good for anything.  I'm currently blackmailing mates to see if any of them will let me crash for a few days and use their connections.

    Regarding the team game.  Count me in!  Let me know if I need to do anything before next Mondays mtt.  Look forward to dominating!

    Wow, I have never been fought over before ;-)

    I think the fairest way its to go with first come first serve so that leaves me in the hands of Hitman.

    Maybe a shame as Red is my colour.  You'll never walk alone......!

    Well drove over an hour to my parents only to discover that their connection is super slow and could just abiut handle 1 table.  So I settled down for my 1 table grind when my battery ran out and discovered I'd left my power cable at home.  Ohh the joys!

    Careful DTM, don't get sucked in by the first load of chancers that come your way. surely you'd rather be a TITAN than a squaddie & unlucky with your set vs my tptk last night, with ole luckbox hitting his flush.

    Well the nightmare continues....

    BT just aren't coming through for me.  They have told me it could be next Tuesday before I get any joy.  So in the meantime I tried my parents joint.  Drove over an hour to discover their connection is stuck in the 90's and I can play 1 table a push.  I was prepared to do so being the sicko that I am.  10 mins into the grind my battery dies and I remember I have left my power cable at home.  Marv!

    So I get a lift back home and get the phone call my car is ready to be picked up.  Bonus.  It's a Lotus so everything that goes wrong costs a fortune and it has to go to a specialist garage which kills my roll.  Jump in and drive off.  After a mile the engine light comes on so I phone them.  Speak to the mechanic and he says I have to take it back asap.  Not only do they get the initial £300 but it still isn't fixed.  Double marv!

    Whilst conpemplating whether I should get the Lotus fixed and then drive it into BT headquaters Ile thought there has to be away.  The dongle!  I've heard about these little suckers so headed down to the nearest PC World.  Got my hands on what I needed and here I am.  Managed to load up 2 tables before insta mega humongous life lag tilt.  Tried abit of hu but it's just not happening.

    In the meantime I've dropped a place in kings of cash which will cost me over a £100 and dropped at least 4 places in the lower tier.  Triple Marv!

    So, some lucky trick or treaters are going to get a laptop, a 30 inch monitor, keys to a Lotus elise and a mouse mat and pad.

    There's the door bell!  The next update might come from a 7yr old vampire.

    Why dont you get a payg dongle to keep you going for a few days?? Ive used these before, got 6mb speed and comfortably 6 tabled.

    This was a really great read mate, nevermind that it's pretty sick to earn like 40k C4P just from 30NL!

    Great performance, great diary, hopefully you stick around... until I move up to 30NL, then yuo can leave ;)

    Well I guess this will be the last update :-(

    October was full of ups and downs but that's always going to be the case in the life of a grinder.  Unless your nanonoko and every day is xmas.  I started off swimming along staying around evens.  Mid month I hit a bad spell and dropped about £600.  I didn't stress to much as I felt my game stayed solid and it was just down to a big slice of nasty variance pie.  I plodded on and all the time my c4p were creeping up nicely.  I was away on a stag do for a night and think the break really helped.  It's funny how a short break (with friends) really puts things into perspective and gets you focused again.

    Hitting my 'A' game again I managed to get back the losses and even turned a slight profit.  

    The past week has been a nightmare as my internet connection went down.  I think I would have made 40k if it hadn't as I had planned major poker time for the last week but instead I got caught up trying to sort out my connection and problems with my car.  I've since learnt that my internet is going to be off untill Tuesday.  I have a dongle now so you may see me max 6 tabling and getting timed out alot.

    I finished on 33532 C4p last month which I consider to be an average effort but it wasn't entirely my fault.  The last 7k c4p lost me approx £550 plus one spot in 'kings of cash' £125 I believe, and a few spots on the lower tier.  Maybe £50.  So thanks BT but you ended up costing me somewhere in the region of £700.

    I wonder if the guys that were so keen to get a bet on me not being able to hit 45k in a month would still be so keen to take me up?  

    Thanks to everyone who followed my thread and feel free to share some ideas for a new challenge.

    Signing off as a loser of my challenge but I'll be back and I'll be better!

    Enjoyed your posts throughout my challenge and your knowledge of the site.

    i have to admit I sneaked a little 40nl and 50nl in there.  It;s just tough to 2 table 30nl at 5am when all that is on tv is 'passport patrol' or repeats of 'sell me the answer'.

    I'm still undecided tbh.  I need to find out if priority is the best deal players can get?  I wonder in sky poker would do anything for me if I agreed to rake over £50k a year.  I need to find out.

    The word 'harvest' isn't one that I would use.....its freekin freezing!.

    Going to treat myself to a few bevvies on the weekend and then decide what the future holds.

    i'd be billing BT for loss of earnings plus inconvenience compensation.

    you put in a fair effort despite falling short of your initial target but when you see some of the problems that beset you. i have no doubt you would have cruised past it otherwise.

    good luck whatever your next challenge will be.

    I don't think theres anything I can do.  It's not like I had a set amount I was going to earn and it would be very hard to prove.

    i to have had bt issuses and just wanted to know where abouts in the uk you are and is it normal internet or infinity as bt say its not them but im hearing from others on bt they are all having problems

    I'm in Gateshead.  It's just regular internet.  BT have told me it should be sorted by Tuesday.  So annoying but what can you do.
