    I don't have a betfair account at the moment, but i often think it is easier to pick a horse which won't win as apposed to one that will lol.

    Edit: Bit of a suprise in the first at lingfield, the optimistic 8 fold is dead haha.

    did u pick up any off the 50k that was lost at 1/100 on witches hat after the last at folkstone. i just dont get people lumping on at such short odds.

    I use too, and didnt to bad at actually laying horses, I was suing betfair and my problem was betting horses at 1/20 in running, time and time I backed a horse for big sums, to win very littlle, and time and time again id find a horse miles clear that would fall at the last, so what I was winning from laying I was losing straight back stupidly, so I ended up just giving up on laying.

    Returned £46.45!!!  :)

    But listen to this one....lol.
    I thought I did 3 £1 placepots earlier for each meeting, but I was rushing a bit at work and it turns out I missed out Lingfield. However, I put Folkestone on TWICE!!!!!   £15.30 x 2 in my account too.

    So I have defo had a good day!!  CHEERS!

    Small profit today of £36.50 unless the Darts or football bets come in, could have been so so much better tho, all three meetings today I had three 2nd place finishes, along with the Nine 2nds also had two 3rds!!!

    Two nice each way bets came in else it would have been a day to write off, also got a placepot up for the 2nd day in a row (had 1 friday also) altho that didnt pay that much.

    Hope those who had bets today had better luck than me

    Pretty awesome item on ATR here about the psychology of betting and selective memory.

    Loads of overlap w/poker.

    Hugh Taylor and some other guy in the studio, def worth a watch if you can find a repeat.

    Thanks father, just had a slight dip before Respledant Alpha came in, not up for the day yet but theres still the entire Kempton meeting, Darts, Football and a few races this afternoon to come, it is looking like another winning day!

    What did you think of Ajeeb, would he have got up but for tender handling.
